Disney pin trading

I go to the World a couple times a per year. I’d like to fine tuneand optimize my pin trading yet I always come and just hope for the best. Any thoughts?

About how to do so? Don’t buy the fakes on eBay that are sold for under $1/pin.

look for the newer hidden Mickeys, those are the least likely to have fakes (yet)

I like to trade early of a morning before others have a chance to pick things over. And I like to ask those dressed as managers (but only if they are not busy).

My understanding is that Disney cast members are no longer doing pin trading due to social distancing rules. Shops will have pin boards. People have reported that they have not seen pin boards since the resorts reopened. In the past, some gift shops had the pin boards behind the cash register, so if you are in a gift shop you might try asking.
