Disney World Passes

I would like info about using a world pass. We have a friend who lost a daughter about 7 years ago. They still have a World pass in her name. No picture. Do you think their other daughter could use it? Does anyone have any info or ideas? We all know how spendy those tickets are.

I suppose it would be okay to use a 7yo pass, as long as the family didn't have any emotional issues with doing it.
