Disneyland at Thanksgiving

For anyone who has been to Disneyland over Thanksgiving, could you please tell me what the crowds are like and if you have found any special deals for on sight and what they were?

It's busy, busy, busy. Even the days right before Thanksgiving are crowded since more and more schools take the whole week off. Deals at that time are doubtful.

We were there last Thanksgiving week. We stayed Sat-Wed, left the night before T-day. It was crowded, but we went knowing it would be that way. It is completely do-able, just plan on getting to the parks before opening and taking an afternoon break, so you can stay late. Thanksgiving day thru Sunday following were extremely crowded last year, with the park at capacity most days. We would do it again without a problem, but would try to avoid the actual holidays.

I agree that it will be very busy that time of year. The weekend following is real busy too, as well as it filters into the following week. Start the day at park opening to hit your must do's, then take it easy and go with the flow (or lack there of).

A plus is that southern california weather is usually real nice in November. Better than a crowded park in the heat of August :sunny:
