Disneyland on Wednesday, 11-30

Went to the park yesterday. Weather was nearly perfect and the crowds were the lightest I’ve seen in years. I was with a friend and we both speculated that it was due, likely, to a post-Thanksgiving slump, which was more than fine with us. It reminded us of the way things used to be a few years before the opening of SWL. I hope the low crowds continue through next Sunday, when I plan to be there next.

Those crowds look great! I like the Nemo pictures. I've never been on that ride because I'm claustrophobic. Even the little viewing room they have felt too small for me. So cool you saw Peter Pan, too!

Oddly enough, I used to know a CM who worked on Buzz. They wanted her to learn Nemo but, like you, she was claustrophobic. She couldn’t even step into the sub. I was talking to a friend about her as we went to that ride yesterday.

Wednesday was great! We even got to have dinner with Mulan at Tortilla Jo's!

We were there on Wednesday as well, and were pleasantly surprised by the low crowds. We didn’t need Genie + and rode plenty of rides before lunch.

They were back Thursday though, particularly Thursday night. I think it’s going to be a busy weekend. Tons of people were checking into the GCH on Thursday night as we were checking out.

Next year, we’ll plan on Monday and Tuesday or Tuesday and Wednesday after Thanksgiving.
