Donuts on Wonder

We recently returned from our July 17th Wonder Cruise. Had an excellent time. Absolutely loved the breakfast buffet at Beach Blanket Buffet. My husband LOVED the white cream filled donuts. Anyone have any info on these? Do they purchase the donuts from a chain store, or make them theirselves? Anyone have a recipe for the white cream? Would make great woopie pies. Any info would be great!! Thanks a bunch!!

No help here but a HUGE nod to those donuts - super and unusual filling - my daughter was also in heaven!

On the July 12 Magic cruise, my husband saw one of the buffet crew unpacking numerous boxes of Krispy Kreme donuts onto a tray. Guess they load up, and freeze them for the weeks' cruise.

The ones I had were real cold inside.. leading me to believe they had been frozen.

Hi: I, too, saw boxes of Krispy Kreme's on the 6/29 Wonder. This morning, I just happened to meet a Krispy Kreme district manager. When I told him about DCL having their brand of donuts on the ship and that the donuts were fresh even on day 4, he said that the ship probably has a scaled down version of the equipment. My husband were convinced the glazed donuts were from Krispy Kreme even before we saw the boxes. Jan

They are definatley Krispy Kreme, I too saw the boxes.

They are Krispy Kreme, being stuck here in North Carolina and seeing and eating them quite a bit, I recognized them right away on our June 28th Magic.
