DVC Upgrade?

Been reading the threads about people booked in at the values getting an upgrade to SSR and just wondering if any dvc owners have ever been given an upgrade from a studio to a 1 bed?

No - doesn't happen.

It's very rare - can happen when there are unanticipated maintenance problems with the room type/size the DVC member orignally booked and the resort is totally booked for that unit type/size.

We booked 2 studios a couple of years ago at OKW and were given a 2 bed because there were no studios available when we checked in.

We were once upgraded from a standard view studio at BW to a BW view studio. We were there 2 weeks after 9/11/01 and the resorts were empty. It was our first trip "home".
