Has anyone been in Feburary around Presidents’ Day? How is the weather? Crowds? We’ve been on spring break and in June and July. Any suggestions? Will have 5 year old DD with us.

We went Presidents week 2017. Weather was mild, in the 70’s. I recall it raining once briefly. Too cold for us to swim. We arrived Presidents’ Day and went to Epcot in the evening and the crowds weren’t bad. The rest of the week was moderate. It seemed same crowd level as spring time but we accomplished a lot. We stayed through the beginning of the next week and crowds were moderate to low. We prefer it because we have kids that won’t miss school and lower temps. Our kids have that week off from school.

We went this past Feb. The weather was delightful we were able to swim but were not hot. The parks were crowded (many northern states have the week off for their winter break) but manageable. You just need to plan your dining and fast passes ahead of time and then be flexible.

I live here and can tell you on many PD weekends, it's crowded. At least in MK. Epcot could be better but they now have Festival of the Arts which draws us locals which normally have off.
The weather is lovely in Feb. One of the best times of the year. It's warm but too cold to swim. Now we could have a cold snap as it is still winter but you can expect 70's in the day and 50's at night in general. I'd just check a local Orlando weather web site to get a general idea about 10-7 days out.

Twirl Mania completion is held a Disney that week every year. So you will see massive groups of girls all over the place. The New England states have winter break that whole week so you will see a lot of kids The Daytona 500 race will be that week. Yes its held in Daytona but there are a lot of race fans that stay at Disney because the rooms are sold out in the Daytona area. The art show will take place at Epcot. The Princess Half Marathon is Feb 21-24. And room rates are crazy high. $180 for a value room is what i just saw.

We traveled Presidents Week for many years before our older kids started college. We love the weather. It can be in the 80s or one year it actually was in the 40s - but not the whole week. We were able to swim just about every year except the year it was 40 degrees (which was fine for us because we left below 0 weather that year). It definitely is crowded but we will take Presidents Week over Spring Break. Spring Break was much worse. The crowds do lessen once Monday passes. Enjoy!
