Garden View Tea Room....

In Carrie's book, it says that a buyout is possible of the Tea Room from 11-1 for a $500 minimum. Was thinking of hosting my daughter's bridal shower there, but had a question.

Before that, it states that there can be no speeches, games, gifts, etc. but that seems to pertain to when you make a reservation for a group during regular hours. If I were to do the buyout, does anyone know if we would be able to do those things? Thanks!

When I have talked to them about this, they say that the rule holds for private events as well, because the restaurant is open to the lobby. But Disney changes its rules so often, it never hurts to ask!
