Gatwick South Terminal Children's Area

Hi,

Does anyone have any pictures/knowledge of children's areas in Gatwick south terminal? We've got a 22 month old who will need to let off steam before we board our flight and I've heard the children's area has recently been updated and may now have soft play?!

Yes, there is a soft play on the first floor level. It’s got a tv showing CBeebies or similar, and an area of soft play about the size of half a five-a-side pitch, maybe a bit less. It’s flat (no slides and stuff) but there’s some rocking things and blocks to crawl though and over etc. There is only one door in/out so the kids can’t get lost by going out the wrong way. Great for letting off steam, but make sure you wipe their hands etc with anti bac after they’ve been in there!

Also, note that there are no staff policing it. When we were there there were a couple of much older kids (probably about 8 or 9) making a nuisanc of themselves and charging about the place without a care for the crawling babies and toddlers. No obvious parents in sight.
