HH- Shelter Cove Towne Center Mall

The Shelter Cove Mall - within walking distance of the DVC resort - now has its own website. The property is owned by Kroger, who is building a new super store, and will also include many other opportunities for other shops as well as the current Belk Store.

Also part of the project are apartments and more public areas to enjoy. Using the map on the website, the DVC resort is to the left and Piggly Wiggly (presently the closest grocery to the DVC resort) is to the right.

Kroger expects to be open late this year and construction is moving along nicely.

Thanks for the website, Doc. Late this year? Hopefully, that means before Thanksgiving since we'll be there them. ANd it makes sense, so that they can benefit from the Christmas shoppers. But I'll bet "The Pig" isn't pleased about the impending competition!
