How is anybody able to find...

I was pretty well stocked up on clorox wipes and cleaning supplies before all this started so I haven't been looking for those.
I just so happened to pick up a couple of bottles of Mrs Meyers spray hand sanitizer to keep in the car before I had even heard of corona. Dh came home from work yesterday with a couple bottles of the gel that they were giving out. His friend told him not to worry about asking for more.
I prefer the spray and I have stuff to make my own with aloe vera spray and alcohol if need be.
I just got 48 rolls of TP delivered from Amazon this past weekend, and I have paper towels coming some time next week so we will be set on those for awhile.

I'm going to have to get to know a hoarder.

That would be one of my sister in law's. I can give you her phone number - The same one who was looking for TP in Walmart at 6 am this morning. She has bought some everytime she's been to a store lately, which is almost every day! It's ridiculous how much she and my niece go shopping! She has enough for a family of 4 to make it thru 6 months, (there are only 3 of them in that house) yet she keeps buying it every time she sees some. Same with water, lysol wipes, paper towels, paper plates, etc. I don't possibly see where she keeps it all, as their double wide isn't that big,and they have no basement and no attic to stuff it into!

I bought 91% alcohol and aloe Vera gel to make my own hand sanitizer. I got it all from target - over time. I would randomly check target.com to see if any were in stock - online and in my 2 local stores. Most time it wasn’t. But, every now and then, it would show up. I had some shipped to me and some I picked up as a prepaid order from target.

I also went to my target at almost opening time and there were Clorox wipes and toilet paper in stock. Just a little, and it was 1 per shopper.

We could possibly meet half way dark alley........6 feet apart of course. :rolleyes1 ( I have some money as I'm saving a fortune not going to the casino)

Paper products are all back in stock where I live. I have a recurring Amazon delivery on all that stuff anyway, and those came as normal this month so we've been good there.

Bleach, hand sanitizer, and Clorox wipes are nowhere to be found, though. I did snag a bottle of hand sanitizer online a few days ago - we have enough for now, but my best friend has absolutely none and I am hoping it comes so I can give it to her. I really need some bleach to do laundry, though. We aren't going crazy sanitizing the interior of our house because we don't go out, but I need to bleach my sheets and towels!

Stocker for a retail store here: We've been so high traffic that team is coming in before we open to unload truck. Any high priority items are out on the shelves before we open and we're doing a 1 per customer rule at checkout. That includes wipes, sanitizer, paper towels, TP, Thermometers, rubbing alcohol. But not masks and gloves because from what I understand those are all getting routed to healthcare resources. They've told us not to expect any for a long while.

Check out smaller stores, People are naturally going to go to target, wal-mart, kroger, cvs, etc. Yesturday i went to a small mom and pop pharmacy and they had masks, gloves, and sanitizer.

I can’t find flour or yeast locally. It’s more popular than paper towels.
No flour here either and that is what people keep asking for.....baked goods!!
I have about 5 pounds left, but it goes fast here

Gosh we have tons of flour and sugar here in lower Michigan.....wish I could send you some; then you guys could bake me something yummy and send that back to me! :thumbsup2

Sad to say...where I live there are no "mom and pop" pharmacies at all.

This was one I wasn't even aware was theer until I friend clued me in. It was stuck in the corner of a strip mall (and about the only thing in there open). On any other day would likely have never seen it.

I got sugar for DD today, she couldn't find it near here.
I go to the regular grocery store Thursday (senior) hour and we'll see.
We're having a family get together Sunday (same family) for DH's birthday, so I need things for that

What are your tricks snagging those widely sought after products that are impossible to buy?

Try a couple different stores. Go at weird hours. Heck, I went to two different location of the same store and found stuff at one I couldn't find at the other.
