Ideas for a nursery worthy of my namesake?

Hello all,
I've been away a bit, but am happily back on the board as my wife and I plan a visit to Disney for the Not So Scary Halloween party... which will be our last trip as a couple without a stroller for the forseeable future.

After awhile of waiting and hoping, we are expecting our first child around the beginning of the new year! Even before we knew the gender, there was only one thing I told my loving wife I wanted for the nursery... a Lilo and Stitch theme.. after all, this is the beginning of our Ohana. She agreed (though she is much more Alice in Wonderland based) and there we are... now, however, I am left to figure out how to make it work in the next few months.

Any crafty people out there have ideas on how I can create a bright, colorful Hawaiian themed room for my little girl to be? We have the lithographs from the movie release and movie posters as well as pictures from our family trips with Stitch that we have blown up to poster size... afterall, shots of grandfathers and grandmothers as well as mother and father with Stitch should be featured in the first grandchild's room, right? ....

Anyway, sadly there is no Stitch bedding or mobiles around or anything like that, so I thought it would be a good idea to ask you all for your ideas here.

The good news is that in talking to our doctors and all that, they say the Hawaiian theme should be great... lots of bright and alternating colors to focus on from birth through toddler-hood.

Any ideas or links to ideas would be greatly appreciated... as the future father, I get to make this happen, so let me know if you all have any ideas that you wouldn't mind me stealing!

Thanks,

Congratulations!!!!!!
We are also thinking nursery because we are adopting a baby boy.
I have a few ideas for you~

Here is a start:

I would use bamboo end tables & we bought a beautiful "Hawaii" ceiling fan.
Some of the paint we are using actually has sand in it to give you the beachy/Hawaii touch.
