It’s time to start our pilgrimage to Disney World... But this time we get to induct a newbie into the House of Mouse along with us... If you could not tell, this is not our first time at Disney World. Let me tell you a little about the cast of characters that will be traveling to Disney for Summer Vacation 2010....

My name is Michael and I have been going to Disney since 1972. Since then I have been to Disney World and Disneyland more times then I care to admit (Yes I am older than dirt).

My wife Lisa who is somewhat of a Disney convert herself (but now I think she secretly likes it a much as I do but would never admit it). Will be the my partner in crime for this trip (as always).

Our youngest son Aiden, who is only 3 and a 5 time Disney veteran himself will be the youngest of our group and the most excited

The last of the family clan will be Samantha our 14 year old daughter (who if shopping is involved she is there)

The newbie I was referring to above would be our 17 year old friend Melissa who if you can believe it has NEVER been to Disney World... (I know.. I know.... OMG!!!! I could not believe it either) I discovered my calling in life when I heard this... I had to save her and show her what she was missing in her life before it was to late... So as a Graduation gift we are taking her to the most wonderful place on earth.... Disney World

Hello there Disney lovers!
blog1-1.jpg

This is Melissa…the Disney World newbie…that’s right, I have never set foot in the happiest place on earth. I know, I know, you can wipe the shocked look off of your face now! I was deprived as a child obviously. Haha. But seriously, I am super super super excited to be going to Disney World with my dear friends Michael, Lisa, Samantha, and baby Aiden(well he’s not really a baby, but to me he is!). I am a huge Pirates of the Caribbean fan so this is a dream come true to get to see where it all started! I love Disney and I can’t wait to get on the road!
Until we meet again,
Melissa (aka the newbie)
