Are any of your kiddos under 3? If so then they can stay in your room in a crib without upsetting the "Disney Police."
If not, then I would you need to consider a move to Dixie Landings where you can fit 5 in a with a trundle bed.
Or you can consider an off-site place like Holiday Inns Family Suites. I keep reading about places like these and they do sound SOOOO appealing, AND reasonable.
We will help you figure SOMETHING out!

two 7 year olds and one nine. Oh bother! I don't have a clue what to do...hubby is voting take a chance...kids would all sleep in one bed, me and sis in other, kids are very small. UGGGGGHHHH!!!!
Do you know if DXL has dvc rates for May? and if so do you know what they are? I didnt reapply for dvc yet and wasnt going to unless it helped with the room...Dont want to go offsite if I dont have to, love being in the middle of things.

DVC rates for DxL in May are Sun-Thurs=24 points/Fri-Sat=37 points.

If you are going to consider DVC, a two bedroom at OKW (lots and lots of room for five with room for three more!!!) are Sun-Thurs=27 points and Fri-Sat=72 points. You would get a lot more at OKW for points, just a thought!

There is a point calculator here on this side under DVC from the Home Page to figure exact dates out! You also can figure out calculations for studios and one bedooms at OKW even though there is a lot of heated discussion about fitting five in either villa (check out DVC board for that!)

Sorry! Duh! I did not read into that, but it makes more sense! I just figured you would invest into DVC before the trip and use points for the trip! Too funny!!!!!

I see you've stayed at the All Stars last year so you know how big the room is. I personally think that you will be cramped. Also, with 3 kids in 1 bed will anyone get any sleep? You've also stayed off site, so you know how it is to "communte" to Disney. I would recommend staying at DxL with your crew. Maybe your nephew's parents can help with the cost of DxL, or you can split your stay between DxL and an offsite hotel.

BTW: I don't think you'll be 'caught'. You will be uncomfortable, though. Also, you will not be able to get Length of Stay passes or keys for everyone.

I stayed in a hotel room with my babysitter, her 7 and 6 year old and my 6 year old back in October 99. Luckily we had three kids that went to sleep quickly and got up at the same time without much of a problem.

However, I stayed in All Star Music with just my son 9/00 and found it too small for just the two of us! I guess it all depends, but I agree that your nephew's parents should pitch in the difference in the cost of a larger room.

We stayed at DXL because the all stars etc. don't accomadate 5. The room is so well planned that you will be very comfy. The trundle bed is great our 7 yr old loved it!
I personally wouldn't take the risk of ruining your holiday in a small unrecommended room.
My humble opinion.
DXL is beautiful and the pool lovely. Have fun.
It is worth it. The food is great at the food court and we loved it.
We are off site at Sheraton Vistana Villages this year for a change.
