Why are lock off's harder to get than dedicated 2br? I know some of the lock off's have the pull down bed but looking to possible book Copper Creek and the lock offs seem much harder to get and I know they do not have the pull down bed.

The studio sides all go quickly, once they are gone, so are the options for a lock-off.

ahhhh, that makes sense. I could not figure out why people wanted a pull out couch instead of a bed. lol
I think some like the extra outside entrance, kitchenette (with extra coffee maker) , separate thermostat and possibly an extra balcony door. But as you mention, it depends on sleeping arrangements. If it’s another couple, the studio could have advantages.
