Magic you Way Tickets

I was hoping to save some money by purchasing 8 day tickets instead of 3 day tickets for my parents. I was hoping my Brother-in-law and sister-in-law would be able to use the remaining 5 days for our Thanksgiving trip next year. Do the MYW tickets work like the old Park Hoppers if you buy the No Expire option?

who ever brought the ticket must use the ticket. Disney was tire of people screaming at them when they brought used tickets. Only to find that the tickets were used. So now with the new system only the person who originally used the tickets can use it forever.

with the no expiry it won't ever expiry - can't you use it next year?

All MYW multi-day tickets are bio-scanned (finger scanned), thus only the person that uses the ticket the first time can use it for the remaining days.
