Major Disney refurb and construction completion dates worldwide

On WDWNT they called Wine Bar George a "table service dining location". Not sure if there right. Also, on the Wine Bar George application there's a position for server and a position for host and quick service host. This sounds to me there will be a small section for a tapas table service and a bar/lounge section. I could be totally wrong.
That could be right. It never seemed like a full service sit down restaurant to me and a small plates menu doesn’t seem like that to me either. They could take reservations but I wouldn’t expect to be a big table service dining experience.

Did they back up POFQ room refurbishments? I thought they were going to be done this spring.

Thanks! I have seen a finish date of May 2018 in a couple of places. I just hope they are done by October when we are set to go!

I didn't read the whole thread. So maybe already asked and answered. I know it would be a lot of work... But...
It would be nice if the first post was a table of contents that linked us to a description of each project with more information about each.
Could that be added. Or create a link to the "OFFICIAL" thread about that project?

Not every project has or needs an official thread. Some of the projects listed are just refurbishments. Major projects like Toy Story and Star Wars do have their own threads. Some the threads can be found in my signature. There are also threads like the Epcot or DHS construction threads that cover several projects.

As always, Thanks for all the time and effort, and information....:thumbsup2

We’re intrigued by the 2018 tag to the new Cirque show. We will be on property in November and hadn’t realized this might be an option, are there any more details someone can share?

No word on when it will open yet. Disney and Cirque have only said it’s a new show centered around Disney animation.

Popping in to say I really hope Micky & Minnie's Railway debuts BEFORE Star Wars Land. I would love to go there in between the openings, but the rumblings I've heard elsewhere point to a simultaneous opening. :/ Anyone here heard anything?

I’ve heard spring 2019 for Mickey and Minnie.

Post 1 says fall, and that's also what I've heard as the earliest elsewhere (wdwmagic). If it's spring, that would be fantastic. I'd probably book a trip for then if that's what's announced, or if summer 2019 is announced. As long as it's BEFORE SWL! I'm really worried about the crowds when SWL opens. I'm a fan of SW, but I don't like it more than I hate crazy crowds. :) And I was going to go in March 2019, but with TSL being the only real addition since my trip this past week, it doesn't seem worth it for me to go again until M&M is open too. I'm feeling a little burnt out to be honest.

There is also a great website devoted to both French Quarter & Riverside that has frequent updates about the 2 properties: http://www.portorleans.org/. The British webmaster has been running this site for well over a decade. It was a huge help for me many years ago for my first onsite visit.

Yes but think of how many people it'll pull from the other parks, to free those up. There's always 2 sides of the coin....Or even better...TSMM will have 10 minutes S/B waits..:teeth::bounce:
