We have invited friends to join us on our trip next year (an adult couple). We are staying likely in a 1 or 2 bedroom villa on points. Do DVC rooms go by the standard double occupancy rules and we will have to pay extra for the two other adults in the room? If so, how much per extra adult? Thanks!

No. You can have as many people in the room up to the stated occupancy for the same rate.

There is a max occupancy per room and that is what you pay for, there isn't an extra fee.
