online check in and room requests

I thought I read somewhere that doing the room requests online when doing online checkin is only for guests that are paying in cash. If you're DVC and using points, you go through MS. Is this true? When we were doing our online check in yesterday and earlier last week (split stay), it let us do room requests.

Also, at BCV one of the requests is 'bigger balcony', where are the 1 bedrooms with bigger balconies located?

Online check in was made for guests staying in large resorts with a 30 person plus check in line.

DVC added the ability for owners but the requests don't always match the DVC resorts.

IMO you are better off having MS add your requests to the reservation.
