Wahoo! I'm in Montgomery county, KOP area - DVC owner since Dec. 2018 - Copper Creek.
Our first DVC stay was in the Hilton Head resort (we love it SO MUCH)
We were supposed to go back down in March of this year, but the resorts closed (and so did everything else) before our trip so it was canceled.
We just cancelled our August trip to Vero Beach because my in laws would be coming and they were concerned about traveling to FL.

We have one more trip scheduled for this year - HOPING for thanksgiving to come through. It will actually be our first time staying at our Home Resort. We have a one bedroom booked, and park passes scheduled so serious fingers crossed knock wood delusional hope high - we will be there.

In the KOP area for the Fall/Winter, and Poconos for Spring/Summer. We have our home resort at BLT, and have stayed there multiple times and BCV once (for F&W) since 2016. Formerly a cash customer staying at Poly (15 or more times), CBR, All Sports, All Music, and off-property since 1974. We waited and waited for Poly to have a DVC resort, but didn't like the renovation plan when it was finally announced, so bought at BLT.

We usually go in January/February (Festival of the Arts), and got in a trip this year prior to the pandemic. We have reservations for March 2021 (Flower and Garden), but it looks like we are going to start walking those towards October (50th anniversary) to be sure there is a vaccine available before we go.

Greetings fellow PA'ers. I live in Johnstown, but work in VA most of the time. I have DVC at AKV, BRV, BWV, OKW and RVA. Next trips scheduled for Oct and Dec.

North eastern burbs of Pittsburgh here...BWV, WLV & AKV

2020 Scoreboard...will be happy to bat .500 if truth be told:wizard:

Completed: 2 - January & February

Cancelled: 2 - March/April & August

Hopefully: 2 - Sept/Oct & Nov/Dec

Hello fellow PA people! KOP here . BRV since 2001. I like to think that I have become an expert at cancelling vacations this year (cancelled 7 trips to various places). I need a spreadsheet just to track airline and cruise fare credits. Had booked WDW for April, parks closed. Moved that trip to July, then cancelled that one. Now scheduled for December (which is when we usually go to WDW anyway). Fingers crossed that the December trip is good to go.

Another Pittsburgher here. We are also in the Northeastern Suburbs. We've owned @ BRV since 2013. I don't know what took us so long to become DVC Members. We've had trips in April & June cancelled. Hoping to get to HHI in September. Our next WDW trip is currently booked in January @ the Riviera.

Hi to all PA neighbors, West Chester now, raised in KOP. DVC since 1993 at OKW, Had BCV from 7/02 until 2 years ago, VWL (BRV) since 2004.

Hey Everyone. Born in Coatesville but currently live in Downingtown. DVC member since 2005 with BWV as my home resort. Before the Pandemic, we were making 3 trips per year (sometimes 4). We were there the week before everything closed and won't be back until March 2021, sadly.

Our scoreboard is worse. Could say we're 'batting a thousand' as my mom used to sarcastically say when everything went wrong. We will get in zero DVC trips this year.

We also typically would go 2-4 times a year. We liked going to HHI as well. But would get APs and do WDW about 3 times a year. Usually 3-5 days. Sometimes a week or longer. But mostly shorty trips. And one trip was always F&W since 2013. Then started adding in F&G. LAst year we did March, May, Oct and Dec at WDW and 4 short HHI trips mixed in as well. We were living in NC last year so it was a bit easier to hop in the car and drive (HHI was like 5 hours and WDW was like 9.5).

This year we booked HHI for Mother's day and then changed it to F&G at WDW to see Survivor on June 1. Then, when that looked like a no-go, we moved to Fathers' Day at WDW. When that looked like it might open but not the parks and that we'd need to wear masks in the June heat and not have all the stuff we wanted (had Victoria and Albert's booked and that wasn't opening)....we moved back to HHI in early June. Thought for sure HHI and VB would open sooner than they did. Especially HHI when all of the island was up and running already. Well, they set to open the day after we were checking out. So we cancelled and added onto our 4 night January 2021 stay, making it 8 nights. And we booked a 2BR condo rental in HHI right near the Disney resort and stayed a week.

So all trips via DVC cancelled for 2020. Last did DVC for 2 nights in December. Prior to that was the F&W trip end of Sept into Oct for a week. We also had 3 cruises booked. One for July that was cancelled and we cancelled, before final payment, a cruise for March 2021. But we have an Oct cruise that we got a TA deal and had to pay in full and cannot cancel that we're hoping gets cancelled by Carnival. Waiting. Don't want to go. Thinking of waiting to cruise again for maybe late 2021 or early 2022.

We, DH and I, just drove to Ithaca for the weekend. To just get out of the house. We did the week at HHI in early June with our twin DDs-21. But we are a go see and do family. Aside from the multiple DVC trips each year, and the cruises, we also traveled with our DDs who played travel ball from age 12-18. So just hanging at home hasn't been something we do a lot (until March 2020 hit). When they went to college, we did have lots of empty time on our hands and hence all those trips last year. Plus we'd go out to eat/drink every weekend and can't really do much of that anymore either.

So we are from MD, but when DDs graduated HS we moved to NC for 3 years. DDs went off to college in PA. We were a 9 hour drive from them for 3 years. I hated that. Plus our 70-something parents are all in MD and were having health issues. So DH transferred jobs to Camp Hill, PA. Now we're about an hour and 50 mins from DDs apartment (north of us) and from our parents (south of us) as well. But DDs have been home with us all summer (which is an adjustment for sure). And we hesitate to visit with our parents due to COVID. Saw them Valentine's weekend and then finally for July 4th. And I was terrified after July 4th, that they'd get sick (even though we haven't been sick, but still worry). They are just fine, thank goodness.

Strange times. Just hope things change or, at least, we all have serenity to accept the things we cannot change. Because, man, the change with this is hard.

Adding in- we are 47 and married 24 (almost) years. Aside from twin DDs-21 we have a DS-23. We did live here in this area back when the kids were teeny tiny, from Oct 99 to May 02. Lived on the East shore of Harrisburg then and we're on the West shore now.

Nice sentiment, we are all in it together. Would be nice to see the light at the end of the tunnel.

This boards have turned into a place of refuge, of sorts. Where else can you find people who, instead of giving a full-on side-eye:bitelip:, will truly commensurate over our shared travel woes?

Lancaster County, PA here. Own BWV, PVB and GF. Not going again until next summer, but we did go in June for a resort stay before the parks opened back up this year.

Howdy ,
Cheltenham, Montgomery County, suburb of Philly. Canceled our August 10 day trip with our daughter’s family. They’re still going so we just downsized villas. Hope to still go our week in October we have booked, but still unsure about that.
