Question on "membership extras"

In the DVC contracts it has something about 3 years availability for included extras. And, if they are not available that they "substitute" the benefit.

What does that mean? and, does that inlcudes APs? if not, what does it mean?

I know there are many experts on here. Thanks in advance.

It means that membership extras are not guaranteed, and yes, that includes APs.
