Awhile back I asked for information to help me choose a camera before my trip to Disney.
You all helped me to clarify exactly what was most important to me in a camera. Your suggestions were invaluable.
I decided on the Canon A590IS based on the criteria most important to me.
1) View finder (I do awful with glare - yikes)
2) Image stabilization
3) Feels comfortable in my hand
4) No long delay on power up or in snapping picture
5) Zoom
6) Ability to turn flash off
7) Availability of different settings (outdoor, inside etc)
Other features I like are ability to shoot Black&White, delay for taking picture, batteries are easy to buy anywhere, standard memory cards
I have 11 days to learn my camera, then it is off to WDW.
