Since we have the MH out on the road and several camping trips planned for the next few months I thought I would start this thread so I am not clogging up the chit chat thread.

DW and I decided to title the thread after our daughter Savannah, or as @tiggerdad calls her ‘lil medic, which by the way she loves the name.

She’s in there somewhere.
As many of you already know, I bought the MH from a friend at work at the end of October 2018. Here it is on the first camping trip to the same campground we are at now.

Big difference in the weather.

It did get down in the low 40’s last night so we have the propane heat on this morning.

Will have more updates as the weekend progresses.

Our last night here at the KOA. Got the campfire going, having a few drinks and roasting marshmallows for ‘s’more.

listening to the sounds of kids and families having a good time. I would have to say that the campground is probably 3/4 full. The camp store has a good selection of camp supplies and groceries.
I will have to bring my pressure washer from work home this coming weekend to get ride of all the pollen. There is free WIFI but it is slow, even with just using our carrier I only have two bars.

So we left out at about 10:30 this morning for the long 80 mile drive home. The wind was nice and calm, not blowing 15 mph like the other day and making it feel like I was in a boat on the lake.

We had a great time hiking and sitting by the campfire. We will be at our next campground adventure on June 26, so until then Iwill leave you with a couple more pics.

This looks like a wonderful place to camp. We have only been out once, since COVID 19, and like you, we stayed pretty close to home. Hoping to do more close-to-home camping soon.

Well another year and another state inspection. We passed so we are good until next June. Put about 100 miles on today just to get it to a friends garage and driving around. After the inspection we stopped at a deli and picked up home made breakfast burritos. They warmed them up and we left the store. When we got back to the MH I started the generator and put them back in the microwave for a few minutes, they weren’t very hot from the store.

We ordered a few more things off Amazon for the MH, they should be here Tuesday. Driving out to Burlington this afternoon to the RV dealer and looking around the store there for things for the MH, then tomorrow we will be heading to Albany for Sonic and the RV dealer out there.

Got an email this morning from Moose River Campground, where we will be this weekend, letting us know what is and isn’t open. Pretty much everything is closed to the public except the laundry, then you have to pickup a key do your laundry and turn key back in. Only one family allowed to do laundry at a time.
Office is closed, as are the restrooms and the pavilion. Have to call for firewood delivery to be charged to your card at the end of your stay.
We did get our site number and WiFi passwords already. There is also a form to fill out and bring with us saying we haven’t been anywhere we shouldn’t have or quarantined 14 days before arriving, and social distancing is 10 feet.
Sounds like a fun weekend, but it is camping.

Camping is the one thing I feel is easy to do socially distananced and still have a good time. Sure we dont get to use all the ammenties, however, hour experience is that it was kind of nice. We are looking forward to the next trip for us.

It is a small campground in Danville VT, you can see from one end to the other. We are in site 9 and my friend from work is in site 23. More pics after dinner, cheese burgers and Cheetos.
