It sure looks like it got squeezed under the bridge...pretty amazing that it didn't break up and sink.

Actually Bev - I think you have a point!

When looking at the pictures again, the first few up until the boat gets to the bridge - the overhead gantry on the bridge has the extra bit on top - on the right hand side.

When you look at the pictures **once the boat has sunk* the extra bit on top is on the left hand side.

I wonder if the photographer went to the other side of the bridge to do the second half of the pictures - thus giving the impression that the boat actually sunk?

I could be way off beam but it looks possible to me
