Anyone catch this new (?) program on the Travel Channel? It was billed as a look at Disney's Deluxe Resorts. I wasn't sure whether it was new or not, was plesantly surprised to find a segment on Saratoga Springs.
I feel bad posting about it after-the-fact because I don't see it on TTC's upcoming schedule. I Tivo-ed it on 6/13 at 10am eastern. Not sure why they wouldn't have given it a better timeslot, or re-aired it a dozen times as they usually do with their newer programs.
Anyway, if you see it on the schedule again, take a look. I didn't watch the entire thing, but it had 5-6 minute segments on many of the WDW resorts including AKL, WL, BC/YC, SSR, GF and even Pop Century (not sure how that one snuck in?!?!) I think there was also info on the Grand Californian and the cruise line.
I don't recall seeing the Contemp, Poly or Boardwalk, but they may have been buried in there somewhere.
The segment on SSR was the only one I watched in any detail. They did a very good job of covering the resort. The show includes footage of check-in area, Artist's Palette, main pool, Downtown Disney view, guest rooms, the spa, Turf Club, and so on. As usual, much better stuff than Disney's own promotional videos.
