Wednesday Dec.6- Sunny and high of 71.

After the excitement of yesterday we decided to sleep late and try and make it a low key day. Donna and Helm decided not to go to the parks and go shopping. We were supposed to keep Abbys wound from getting wet or hit again. Since she is hyper active to begin with, this was really hard to do. She is impulsive and forgets what she's told as soon as we tell her.

Abby and Shannon started picking on each other and running around very early. I decided we needed to separate them. We went back to the Magic Kingdom. I figured if we kept her in the stroller between rides and didn't go on anything bouncy, she'd be o.k. It was a beautiful day, bright sun and it felt great.

We met our other friends Dan and Tina who were staying at a resort near Downtown Disney. Tina was thrilled to be at the Magic Kingdom and she was her usual exuberant self. Abby was almost back to normal, but people were staring at her and she didn't understand why. Her face looked hideous, but I wasn't about to stay home. The doctor said it would not make any difference if she was there or not, just to keep her from re- injuring it.

We went to all the rides we missed on Sunday, and really slowed down to enjoy the day. It was packed of course and the fast passes were put into good use. We had lunch at Cosmic Rays. Burgers for the guys, chicken for the girls. Abby had a little of everything. The food was just o.k. I wonder why Disney can't have a fast food restaurant that makes really great burgers? They always taste like school cafeteria food to me.

We decided to leave around 4pm and meet up with Donna and Helm for dinner. Tina and Dan continued on in MK. When we got home the others were too tired to go out to eat so we ordered Chinese to be delivered. We relaxed and played cards for a few hours and went to bed early. This was a very uneventful day (Thank God!)

Tomorrow: Animal Kingdom and Pleasure Island!

Sounds like a restful day. Just what everyone needed I bet. :)

I'm glad you had an uneventful day. Just what the Dr. ordered. :)
