Sonya has been having a very rough week but over the weekend it got really bad with the nausea and weakness to the point that she was not able to eat or drink and she got even weaker. Yesterday I decided to take her to the ER to have things checked out , I suspedted dehydration was a problem and I was right , she was severely dehydrated.
She was admitted and I don't know when we are going to go home , we came prepared for a couple of days stay with clothes and essentials including the laptop ( hey that's important you know ? LOL ) .
Her BP was all whacked up , the heartbeat rate was very high ( clear signs of dehydration ) , she has fluid in her ears ( signs of ear infection on top of everything ) and now the nurse just came in took her temp and she has a fever thanks to the ear infection so we may not go home today either.
I feel good though that at least we are where we need to be now.
By the way this is Mskanga here !

OH Sweetie....I hope they take of it VERY quickly and you both get to go back home.. You are at the right place..

Just added special prayers for Sonya and your family.:grouphug: :grouphug:

I'm thinking of you and Sonya. I'm sending lots of PD and hugs your way!

We are not going home today and perhaps even not tomorrow, we'll see how she progresses.

HUgs Kanga, and prayers for Sonya....just stay focused and get her so that she is comfortable.. no fever and feeling better..

You and Sonya are in my thoughts constantly. You are in the best place. Hugs to you both.

We are finally home ! we came home yesterday after a very long and scary stay at the hospital , Sonya had what looked like some seazure episodes but it turned out to be a dystonic reaction to one medication , which means she lost all control over her body but not mentally.
Now we know which medication caused this and she was taken off it completely , no more episodes since then.
Glad to be home again and having Sonya on the mend.

Oh boy, that does sound very scary indeed. Thankfully they know which drug it was...
I hope you all get some much needed rest, and Sonya feels better soon..

TONS of prayers and pixie dust for you.
