Whale watching?

We are considering whale watching on our upcomming trip. Have you ever whale watched? If so what company did you use?

I went once from Half Moon Bay, I don't remember the name of the company but it wasn't all great. It was alot of time on the boat and very limited time seeing whales. BTW Half Moon Bay is almost in northern Cali. I've seen whales many time from the shore in Point Loma nead San Diego.

We went with Danawharf.com twice last week.
Amazing trip, 2 hours on a catamaran. We saw a blue whale each time, lots of dolphins and a couple of fin whales. Tuesdays are 1/2 price and the first time out was so unbelievable that we booked for the following Tuesday.
Full price it's $39/adult $29/kids.
It took a little over 1/2 hr from Anaheim.
I'd post pictures but can't seem to find the cord to connect to the computer.
