What to do at Disney Springs

In all our trips to Disney we've never made it to Disney Springs (or even Downtown Disney).

What are some fun things to do with 9 and 11yo girls other than eat?

Shop?

The Lego Store has some areas where you can build and race your own cars and occasionally the employees ask a kid to help build a new set for the display cases. In the evenings there are live entertainment options--we saw kids country line dancing, an acoustic singer/songwriter type and a full on bass thumping club DJ all in the course of 2 hrs.

And little ones like the boat ride and carousel.

We've been to WDW 5 times and decided to visit Disney Springs this trip in late Sept. While it has a neat setting and some interesting shops to browse in I didn't find a lot of "value" in visiting there. There is the movie theatre, bowling alley, along with the balloon & amphicar rides and live music. Star Wars virtual reality experience is coming soon for Star Wars fans.
