My 12 yo & 17 yo sons are wondering if there are any others out there that would be interested in communicating with them via e-mail or the Teen Boards if anyone has any kids close in age. My 17 yo did post on the TB, but no response as yet. Thanks.

hi i am hoping you mean the Nov 2-6, 4 day wonder cruise. we just booked this trip and are waiting for the confirmation. i do have a 13 year old son and a 17 year old daughter , although i have learned my lesson about saying they would or would not like to" e communicate" before the cruise but i thought you would at least be able to tell your ds's they won't be alone on the ship. i'll talk to my ds and dd when they get home from school.
we also have 2 younger dd,s 10 and 6.this will be our 4th disney cruise 2nd time on the wonder.feel free to e mail me my address is on my profile.hope to talk soon, :)

Thanks, sumfun. Look forward to 'speaking' w/you.
Yes, that's the cruise we're going on. They were on the Wonder 2 yrs ago & loved it. I told them about this Board & the Teen Board & they also thought it'd be cool to hook up w/kids prior to going. Not that they're apprehensive, but they made some good friends last cruise & figured they'd get a 'headstart' before Nov., if possible. My 17yo son's e-mail is listed on the Teen Board so if your daughter is interested tell her to check it out. My 12 1/2 yo son will be posting shortly. Thanx, again.
This is my husb. & my 3rd Disney cruise - first (alone!!!) on the Magic. It's all great!

hi i see our oldest children have been in touch, i was just wondering will your ds still be 12 at cruise time ? my son just turned 13 and this will be his first time in common grounds, last cruise he wasn't in the lab at all but did play a lot of basketball and spent some time in the arcade.so maybe they can still hang out outside of clubs.
finally got our confirmation from the ta last night so it is starting to feel more real.
:smooth:

Hi, again, Sumfun. Fairly new to these boards & don't know much yet about how to check out others profiles & get their e-ml addresses, so I'm responding here again.
Yes, my son said he heard from your dtr. My 12yo will have the option of being in either club because he turns 13 w/in one month of the cruise, but we all talked & decided:
a) It's best to be the oldest in a group than the youngest
b) With big bro in CG he'd like to stay in the other club this time around. Next time he'll probably be the only one sailing w/us & will move on
He isn't that big on basketball, but LOVES the arcade. He enjoyed the lab activities. He loves the pool, too.

I know what you mean - I just made reserv. for Cirque du Soleil - it's getting really exciting. Five 1/2 mos. to go!!!
:bounce:

My 12yo just corrected me - he LOVES basketball - he's awesome @ bb! Sorry! Maybe they'll hook up. Tell your dtr to give his e-ml adrs to my other son & I'm sure my 12yo will write back.
