Flight with 2 stops too long first leg man to Amsterdam nice and quick then the long flight to Memphis 9 hours that was the long but if we had seatbacks it would have been bearable customs walk through then TSA check every bag open them and check for explosives in front of you . Then on to Orlando get of the plane and its cold luckily we have coats and long pants on pick up car from hertz we always book a small compact and always get a bigger one like this time.
Check in at Pop Century and its full hard to find a parking place! Get our room it’s in the table soccer area the theaming here is better then at the all-stars tired and late we go to bed.
Saturday 20th
Up bright and early as still on English time we have a breakfast in Pop and they have a nice quiet area that is carpeted and has booths so deadens noise then of doing a bit of Christmas shopping then go to universal and get power passes for all of us as we will be going in may and it works well with the blackout dates and costs the same as about a 2 day pass went on shrek, earthquake MIB, Back to the future and T3. A most enjoyable day and as we know we will returning there was need to stay all day we stayed for Macys parade which seamed a bit too long and the balloons were starting to look a bit tatty we headed back for our pizza at Pop the weather for the day was very sunny but there was a cold wind but I must of got a bit of sun on my head cut DW said it was the 6 cans I had with the pizza
Sunday 21st
Checking in at the boardwalk villas today for 11 nights gets there and go to our room when we walk in room nice but reeked of smoke which as we requested a non-smoking room 11 mounts prior was not acceptable so back down to front desk where Phil the manager said he would sort it out he came back with the option we could move for the night then move to another room as they could not get one for the whole stay as it was fully booked up we told him this was unacceptable could he try another DVC at the beach club so of he went. He then came back with 2 options 1st option was to transfer to old key west which as we wanted to be in the boardwalk area to walk to Epcot and walk round the boardwalk at night was not acceptable, then he told us what option 2 was which was transfer to inns side but we would be staying in the concierge section and would have a free continental breakfast each day and canopies and drinks throughout the day and if we wanted he would make sure that we had all the stuff in the room that we would have had in the villas side he gave us a few minutes to think about it. It did not take long to decide we took it and us only asked for a fridge which we got and were not charged for. So of to our room we went it was big 2 queen sized beds and a small settee bed and a massive balcony that overlooked the green, the room was the one right next to the flying fish sign. We then went to the concierge lounge and from 5 till 7 it was wine and cheese and from 7 till 10 it was cordials which was brandy’s port and liquors no need to buy any alcohol for the whole stay and it was all free ( at the end of holiday we asked at fount desk how much concierge was and it would of worked out at $750 + Tax per night so if you include the fridge it would of cost about £500 per night so for our 11 nights it would of costed £5,500+)
Will post more later

Sorry you couldn't get the room you wanted at the Villa's. The Inn room sounds great though :)
