Xmas Magic Trip report, Day 2.

Woke up early to go to our character breakfast. We thought that with the age of our girls, (DD-12 and DD-15) they would be too old for this. WRONG! They were like little kids again! We had Mickey and Minnie stop by, along with Chip and Dale and Liam made a great Sorcerer’s Apprentice hat for DD-12.

Got ready for docking in Key West. It was quite cool and breezy (about 70 degrees). Went on the Trolley tour. Got off at Duval Street for the obligatory trip. Did some shopping and back on the trolley. Finished the tour, shopped a bit (took Shirley Nelson’s advice and stayed away from the T-shirt sellers).

Back on the Ship. Went up to see the sunset and then went back off the ship to see how our porthole looked decorated with Xmas lights! (Very nice, but it didn’t photograph well).

Went to dinner at Parrot Cay, went and saw a show in Rocking D Bar with Grumpy’s Mom and gang. The show was “Who wants to be a Mouseketeer?” and it seemed obvious the couple who won had “coached” their answers.

Was Mousketeer the show for the evening? What did they win? Advice on how to be a winner?

The mouseketter was in the Rocking D bar for the night and was the the big show.

To be chose, sit down by the stage and BOTH RUN out, grab the emcee and don't let him go.

As the DW of the "guy with the fish" (Jim), I have to adjust his posts and responses--he did say he needed some help remembering!

The "Who wants to be Mousekateer" show is in the main theatre and set up like the millionaire show. The contestants for that are picked by seat location and if they won, they won ship credit. It was really cute and kids got to bring up a parents as a consultant. One of the chosen contestants for our night was a Grandfather, traveling with many grandkids, and he needed the grandkids to coach him!

The show Jim is talking about in the Rockin' D Bar was the newlywed-type show. That's where you had to really draw attention to yourself (not my thing) to be chosen and the winners did seem to get an awful lot of leeway in their answers. Personlly we liked the older couple, married over 50 years, and it was amazing how much they could remember! We also had fun answering these questions among our gang at our table. Apparently Lynn really remembers a former friend of Keith's named Jane! LOL

Jim's best catch----

Rieann, I was wondering about mouseketeer in Rockin Bar D!

Welcome to DIS! Glad you had fun on your cruise.

Ahhh, Jim...sounds like you're very lucky to have Rieann! She keeps you on your toes!!! :)
