heck with DME that they could charge for and don't. I just can't see it.
of course, with DME there is less cars and therefore less pollution. So they could say it was to discourage people driving.
Most DME guests don't bother renting a car. We don't do bad things like shopping or dining offsite. I could see Disney charging for parking and using the revenue to offset DME costs.
Please understand that that's irrelevant. Those lots are already built and paid for and were factored into the cost of building the resorts.
It depends on why they're assessing the parking fee. To the extent it is reflective of unrealized value, then they shouldn't decrease room rates or tickets. Otherwise, plan on it being reflected in a lower price increase/rate increase, next time there is to be a price increase/rate increase. Now if WDW were to say decreased the room rates or tickets by the increase in the revenue generated by the gold mine of charging the parking fee, I might be inclined to aggree
You say that as if you (we?) deserve to have what they're offering today for the price they're offering today. WDW is insanely popular. The prices probably should be higher. We just have to accept that.Disney stands to make millians each year if they started charging and I will bet a dime to a dollar they would not pass one red cent onto us in the form of reduced fee's on on tickets or room rates...smjj
