PJ-those are truly unbelievable...I love them and you made my life so much easier, just like that! I can't wait to use them. I so wish we could make tshirts (I know we can do the iron-on) using those. Way cool!

Thanks much!!!!

How cute!

We don't have kids but this sounds fun:

On another thread they are talking about doing a scavanger hunt in the ships for the kids using the passporter treasure hunt book. Then at the end give out little prizes. I have this book and if anyone is intersted I would be happy to make one or more for the adults and kids on our cruise. Just let me know if anyone is interested. We could do familys or groups or adults verse kids or I could just make them up and give them out and people could enjoy them on their own.

Let me know if anyone is interested if not thats ok too.

That is an awesome idea! Wow, I think it would be a lot of fun to do. I would love an adult one, aimed at learning more about the ship, i.e. hard to complete, lol.

I would be very interested the passporter treasure hunt. I know were doing fish mail , so I have been racking my brain on what I can come up with for the Kids.

Bunco tonight......I won most Buncos.....$60 richer (gave $20 to each of my kids). So much fun!! The hostess also gave out scratch lotteries....I won $3 on my ticket....lucky night for me.

One of our Bunco partners was diagnosed with uterine cancer yesterday. They have told her it is very aggressive however they have caught it at STAGE 1. They have told her the survival rate is very high.

We were all discussing ... are we just getting old? On Halloween, one other Bunco friend had a heart attack....41 years old. She was in the hospital for 1 month and can't drive till May.....she has a defibulator (sp?) and a pacemaker.

I am thinking the idea of retiring to a cruise ship sounds better and better!!

okay back to cruise stuff!!

I am so happy you had a better day after what happened. Did you ever change your e-mail? Also the news about your friend is so sad. It puts things in perspective doesn't it? I hope she will be O.K.

This a great idea, as i have to get up and go to customs at 6:15 without waking up my sponsor family, lol.

Just FYI PJ, I am a late to bed, early to rise person. Usually up by 7 or so each morning. I am also the only one of the family who typically goes to breakfast.

Hey, we used to live in Santee, off Mast (on Flora Camellia Court)! And, another rental home...geez, can't remember the street name, but we were only there a couple months.

Small world! DH was out there, working in El Cajon a couple weeks ago. Says Santee has grown big time since we lived there.

Carolyn

Very small world - we live just off Mast!!! We've been here since Jan 04 and everyone always says how this place has really grown since abot a year before we lived here.

I just wanted to share my Wii story with everyone. Totally of topic:confused3
Has anyone else tried to get a Wii? The new nintendo game system. Well, I am president of DD's school's PTA (a whole other story about how I got tricked into that position:lmao: ) and we have our annual bingo night tomorrow. I had the dumb idea:idea: about 3 weeks ago that our grand prize should be a Wii. I mean it came out 3 months ago, how hard could it be to get one!? I have spent every day for the last 3 weeks dreaming of Wii's (between my disney dreams of course) and stressing over these things. The moment a store gets them in, they sell out  You basically have to be there when they unpack the boxes to get one. I work, so that isn't possible and the rest of the board aren't that reliable.:sad2: Anyway, yesterday, 2 local stores got 10 in, and I didn't call first thing in the am like I always do (I was busy making Chef Mickey's reservations-priorities you know) and I missed them all. 2 more days until bingo and still no grand prize. On a whim today (all my area stores told me no more deliveries for at least 2 weeks) I called Target this am on my way to work. Yes, they got 12 in this am..and they still had 9 :cool1: :cool1: "Can I buy it over the phone?" "no, sorry you have to come in". Great, I am going to be late for work, will my patient understand that I was on a Wii hunt?! :rotfl: Anyway, threw my DD in the cart at Target, RAN (yes ran through the store in high heels) and got back there just in time to snag the LAST Wii!!!! :thumbsup2 So, stress is over. We have the Wii for the bingo night and I can now focus all my energy on dreaming of disney!! :woohoo:
Now, back to DCL discussions, thanks for letting me share!

DS camped out in December to get his Wii. Then to DD's dismay, he took it off to college with him after break! I can't believe they are still that hard to get!

As a friend would say . . . That is just WRONG!

What drunken fool made that choice?

At home, I never do breakfast, except for a banana on the way out the door. On Vacation, I do breakfast everyday, I'm sick I know it.

We were at our High School Boy's basketball district semi-final game tonight. We were losing the whole game, and came back to win in a nail biter by 4 points.

You guys may remember my post about the seven foot kid we have (who is Greek) going to Ohio State next year. They projected that if there was an NBA draft for HS kids, he would probably go eighth in such a draft.

Anyway, there was an awesome story about him in the paper today:

If you want to read a feel good story about a great kid. Our community is very proud of him, and, he is a 4.0 student too.

Sounds like lots of fun...I'd join!

At home, I have a bowl of high fiber cereal, and a glass of orange juice every morning.

On the cruise . . . eggs, cheese, lots of bacon, pancakes, omelettes, on, and on, and on . . .

Can you believe I usually do NOT gain on the cruise. I am much more active when I am not sitting behind a desk all day!

Female intuition :cutie: comes through! I love it when that happens!:thumbsup2

What a great (sad, too) story! I hope the best for him!

I don't gain on a cruise either...too active, wanting to enjoy every aspect of the ship, running here and there. And then there are the shore excursions, which usually involve an activity of some kind. So, I'm usually OK (watch, after 15 days I'll be *eating* my words...pun intended)!

I love that you will be younger next year, you go girl!!!!!!!

Was that a Freudian slip or WHAT????:lmao:

That's what I get for not previewing before I post!

I could go back and edit it but it's better the way I wrote it. I wonder if John, the error catcher, has found it yet?;)
