Ok, I think you are kidding me about my nutmeg. I had a pharmacology professor in pharmacy school that taught us about illicit drugs. This looked like he had not only taken every kind but probably made them as well. He told us that a teaspoonful (or maybe a tablespoonful) of nutmeg would produce the same effects as LSD. They both have the same structure and work in the same way. Here is the kicker though. When you take that much nutmeg you have to go through about 24 hours of dry heaves until you get to the hallucinogenic effects. According to him if you could not find any LSD it was hell to get there but you get the same trip.

Eewww. Thanks, but no thanks! I'll stick to getting high on life! ;)

Good morning everyone!

I dislike intensely LAUNDRY! Why can't I be rich enough to buy new clothing if my clothes are dirty? WHY WHY???

With everyone talking about their poochies, and showing pics, I'd like to share what I have as the wallpaper on my laptop. This pic is of our beloved Midnight who is no longer with us, but he was one sweet and loveable doggie. We called him our buddy buddy. In this pic, he laid on the floor with this cup on his head for about 30 minutes without moving. I miss my buddy buddy. :sad1:

What a beautiful baby! I am sorry for your loss. We said we would never get another dog after our peanut butter loving Golden died at 5 of cancer. But even with the birds our house was just to empty. Now we have crazy Grace and it just feels better. I can understand why would miss Midnight so much.
Thanks for sharing is picture.

I can machine gun my shots a bit too. Want to have a contest?

Oh, wait, you're talking about taking pictures. Never mind.

:wizard:

I'll accept your "challenge"... however, I've engaged the neighbors' cat under contract to represent my interests. I have the machine gunnin' camera trigger - and kitty here handles the "other sort"...

We do have quite the wild critter problem out here...

Yep, the 150/50 = x% is correct IF you wanted to find out what percentage 150 is to 50.

But if you want to find the percentage difference (or change in percent) of the two numbers then you need to use the formula:

........EndAmount - StartAmount
%Chg = -------------------------- X 100%
...............StartAmount

Oh goodie...I get to start my day with a headache! :headache: ;)

I used to be really good at math. Then I had a math teacher who was a real ADD. At the top of all of his math tests was printed his motto:
Only The Smart Shall Survive
Pretty rotten for a teacher, huh? Totally took all the "fun" out of math for me.

MR -
You'll work for :cake:???

I'll vacation for it!

You know what is so funny about this? I am partially responsible for the cake thing. I made a rambling post about having cake at a baby shower. I can usually avoid sweets, but I had cake and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Then Mary and others kept reminding me that I like cake.

BUT, given the option, I much prefer creme brulee and cheesecake to :cake:
:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

I agree with you on this....but.....I hated DCL's cheesecake. It tasted like cheese jello.

Not the kind of 'shots' I plan to 'machine-gun' onboard the ship.

Unless someone ticks me off too much.

Sorry, you all I didn't do any quotes.

BIP, a speedy recovery for you.

I enoyed seeing all the doggie and kitty pics. Your animals are sweet.

Bobby the banana really gets around.

My mom's DH went to a transistional care center yesterday. Hopefully, she will bring him home soon.

Hope everyone has a great day.....:) it is supposed to be almost 70 here.

Sending some pixiedust: your mom's DH's way. Prayers for quick recovery.

I've forced myself to budget for dry cleaning my work clothes (dress shirts and pants). I rationalize by looking at some of my older clothes and seeing how faded they are and say I am extending the life of the clothes. I am sure I am not breaking even, but between time spent washing, drying and ironing dress shirts, I feel better.

And our local dry cleaner is a sweet Korean lady and gives discounts to frequent customers (and lollipops to the Princess).

Yea, that happened to me last night as well Stacey. I never did get that Power Nap in I wanted too, but I did get some Ben & Jerry's Chubby Hubby ice cream instead!!!!! :thumbsup2

Early to bed, early to rise. I was up at a little after 6:00....that IS early for me!

Awww...how sweet! We lost our last "big" dog a year ago in January....and I still miss her terribly.

Fighting Illini Move Past Penn State Into Big Ten Quarters

Illinois prevails 66-60 in opening-round matchup.

Congrats to the Chief-less Illini. (Can they still be the Illini, or do they have to come up with a new nickname?)

My Ramblin' Wreck lost in double overtime to (ugh) Wake Forest last night. Now to sit and wait and see if we still make the big dance.

:wizard:

good advice.. maybe we need a download party in the evening. at sessions after dinner..:woohoo: pirate:
We did that on our last cruise. Of course we only had 3 couples. But we still amassed a huge quantity of pictures. Usually we would have a little slide show of pictures in our cabin between dinner and the shows. Also, as a side note, we were able to use Skype on the laptop in the cabin to call home for free. It was nice to talk to the kids while we were gone.

Yeah? Lucky you. I'm jealous. It was late to bed for me and early to rise, with hardly any sleep in between. This stupid medicine for the cough is keeping me awake. Haven't really sleep in a couple nights but I am starting to feel better. I just need to stay awake during the day to enjoy it.

WOW!!! that is crazy!!! :scared: Right now I allow them to do soccer...on the same team with one practice during the week and a saturday am game. Baseball is too late & too many practices during the week. I would let DD take one class of dance if she wanted to & DS to do swim team if he loses his nerves but that is it for right now. They need to be in their rooms unwinding at 7:30.

My ds is much more introverted than my dd. He takes piano & clarinet, and in the summer he runs track. His real passion is drawing. He doesn't go anywhere without a sketchpad.

Dd is another story!! She wants to do every sport/activity she can. She is never too busy. We can have 3 activities/games in a day, and she'll want to know "okay, what's next?"

My kids could not be more different.

You win. Gracie doesn't do that. But she does like to make all her fuzzy blankets nude. She pulls all that stuff. same with tennis balls.

Love the picture they are beautiful. The lighter white blanket. I need one of those. Gracie loves that type of fabric. Haven't been able to find one. She use to have a toy that was made of that type of fleece and she wore it down to about 3" piece that she carried around all the time.

Ash has a blankie like that, I bought it at PetsMart. I also get a catalog in the mail and have ordered from them online....and wouldn't you know, my mind just went blank and I can't think of the name of it. Oh! In The Company of Dogs.

If we are showing off the masters of the house then here is the Dodd's .... JoJo the DISDog.

Too cute! Is that an actual doggie shirt? I need to pay more attention to the pet area at World of Disney.
