And then they stole it for the movie. Perhaps we should all get a free TOAL in exchange for royalty release?:lmao:

Those lines were uttered in the first PoTC back in 2003, you know, right?

Oh Lorri I was giving M a hard time. You are important too. I just have to stand behind the head PIP.....MR has to be herself or chat would not be chat......

Judy I was just being a smart add - can't stand liver of any kind (foie gras, pate, - no matter what you call it, it's still LIVER).

Oh and MR - we really really REALLY need you to be your normal, lively self in chat on Friday.

Did you guys hear about the 3 soldiers that were captured in Iraq and the video that was released that claims they were murdered? This hits close to home for us. The stepfather of Pvt. Byron W. Fouty, is a member of our choir at church. I have never met Byron but I know his stepdad from my years in the choir. Please keep this family in your prayers as well as the family of the other two boys.

That's so sad Laura - keeping them in my prayers.

Hi Everyone!

Well.... I think I may be invisible, but I figured I'd stop by and wave goodbye:wave2:

DS8 and I will fly down to WDW tomorrow. DH left on Sunday and is at the TechEd conference down there. I just about have stuff packed and decided to take a little break and check in here on the board.

I've totally given up on trying to "ketchup". When I have a little time I stop by and read the last 5-10 pages, but since that is usually only a couple times per week, I am missing TONS of stuff.

Of course, when we are at WDW it about the best I can do to keep up with email and I probably won't make it onto the DIS at all. If I get a chance, I'll hop on and say "hi" from there.

I usually have trouble sleeping the night before a trip. I also usually have trouble sleeping when DH is away. Sooooo, I may be back later tonight!

Have a great trip!

Morning..

I guess I'm not invisible! Thank you for the kind good wishes. DS8 and I have plans to do the stuff that DH never wants to stop for. We are going to look for hidden mickeys, and stop at any spot that catches our eye. DH always wants to get to whereever we are going as fast as possible, so it is hard to stop and "smell the roses". Actually, we probably will stop and smell the roses - I love the rose gardens at both MK and Epcot!

Have a great trip.. and think we all feel invisible at times. I know that i do especially here with all the chat and fluff going in..

:surfweb: GOOD MORNING EVERYONE, this is the early morning weather report from Chicagoland. temperature now 55 going to a cloudy, rainy high of 64. .

Who likes a "devil's juice" every now and again.

me I do.. Mommy's juice or devil juice whatever you want to call it...

Hi Mates -

I'm back from our trip - actually - its taken all day to ketchup - but if this was last March - it wouldn't have been 50 pages but 500 pages. Wow -see how much we've slowed. Although - these past 5 days seemed to be more lively?! ( I brought my laptop - but had no time - poor planning on my part huh!)

First - I tired to make notes as I skimmed - but I can't read my "shorthand".
I'm so tired - I'll try to make sense of it later.

Second - "Spamalot" was just a hoot!! I do want to see the NYC version though.

Most Importantly -Third - Mini- Meet w/Todd - our Captain! What can I say - those who already know Todd and family understand - for everyone else ----- Todd & Melissa are 2 of the most wonderful people I've ever met. Their son Destin is an amazing little boy. It is very obvious that he has incredible parents.
I'll share w/all of you - my DGS Matt has developmental delays - well Destin & Matt are the same age ( but Matt is 2 yrs. behind) - So - Destin, patiently played w/Matt - teaching him how to play a hand-held game. Destin is the reflection of wonderful parents.
Our Captain is a Great looking CJS - but more importantly he is simply a really great guy.
Now - I've got to turn in - driving to and from Las Vegas is quite a trek.
And life goes one - today was back to the grind!

Glad you had a great trip & mini-meet!

Does that mean we have to put "Chellee" on the list with "t-****'s" and "add"?
:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
:thumbsup2

I guess. It took me about a minute of staring at it to figure it out, than dd said,"Oh, it's got h-e double hockey sticks in it!"

Good Evening Everyone!

I had to have dinner now and still need to catch up some more, but I have decided that this Friday in chat I will definitely be the grand dame of manners and decorum. I swear you will not recognize me! Then the following week I'll go back to being my uncouth self :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :thumbsup2

Like the song lyric goes...

You've just gotta be you
And nobody else
You're the original
And you do it so well
You're the star
It's your world
Everything that you do
So remember to be yourself
Cause you've gotta be you !

DD's jazz class did their routine to that song.

OMG, They will be in my prayers.

Tina I am sorry about your DD's disappointment. I agree with you wholeheartedly though. It's better to learn early that life isn't always a bowl of cherries. Still is it human to want to scoop our kids up and make everything okay for them. Glad she's sticking with it too! :thumbsup2

Oh and I'm sorry the I called you middle-aged Pal! Forgive me? :lmao:

Hey! Watch who you call middle-aged!:rotfl:

Thanks everyone for the kind words for Kaitlin. She is doing fine now. Back in the swing of things.

I fully agree with everyone about kids these days having to get something even if they did nothing to earn it. DD gets a trophy at the end of softball season too. This year was the first year her science fair project was judged. She won a Gold metal, because she followed the scientific method. Now many in 3-6 got gold metals. Now that she earned. :thumbsup2

Roger greats pics! Wow that looks neat, can't wait for next year when we can see it.

Then, what's the point of coming to chat this week? :lmao:

I have a ST story from last night. I took Kaitlin to get her dance pics taken. I scheduled for 8 PM because she had a softball game a couple of blocks away from the photographers. We get there and there are teenagers everywhere. The lady who works there comes up to us and asks if she has our envelopes and I said no, still had to change dd into her first costume. The lady says to me, " I want to get you out of here quickly, these teeagers are obnoxious!" I told her we ere early, so we weren't in a hurry.

Well the lady was right. Some of these ST girls where having the photographer take their pictures over again, cause they didn't like them. He seemed to be getting a bit peeved too. Katie went in and I only got to see the first taking really well. The ST's mom's weren't very nice about letting me in the studio, so for the last 2 I watched them taken from behind. Next year I think I will schedule them earlier!

Lots of prayers and very cool! Gosh, Alaska's only astronaut was involved in the whole diaper scandal! He was the, umm point, in the love triangle that caused the female astronaut wacko.

Anyway, I LOVE shuttle launch. We were able to see John Glenn go up in 1998. It was amazing. It is one of those things that knowing what it looks like from TV, etc., and experiencing it are two very different things. You can actually SEE sound coming at you. Just way cool. We also drove over from Bradenton a few times to 'watch' a scrub, but we could see the shuttle from our back yard (it was small, but we could see it). I hope you get to see it this time Judy!

We can see it from our front yard across the lake too. I just really want to feel the real thing like the rumble of the earth.......They say that is an experience you never forget. I have found it is really easy to get the reserved tickets where they take you onto their property but there are no chairs and you have to go hours before the actual launch. and it takes hours to get back to your car afterwards.......sounds like fun with 3 children 10 and under doesn't it? I will settle for outside KFC.
