Congrats Andrew!!!

We are laughing about this, but when my daughter went to India everyone was staring at her in a restaurant because she is left handed. Her Indian girlfriend and her family started to giggle at my daughter because they knew why everyone was staring. They told her to eat with her right hand to stop the staring. You can just imagine what they were thinking!!!!!

Night.

Remind me tommorrow! Not sure why?

If I don't remember, PM me! Right now I am waiting for DCL to call and say they have changed my air from 10:00am to 1:15pm on the 8th. Keep your fingers crossed and a little pixie dust:tinker: for luck!! I don't want to have to leave the boat in my Mickey PJ's.

We currently have 3 spots on the VIP Vatican and Highlights of Rome tour that we are planning on cancelling as we booked a private tour with Claudio Caponera. If anyone here was wanting that tour and not able to get it before it sold out, please send me a pm and I will arrange a time with you to cancel our reservation so that you are able to then book it (and if this isn't how the website works please let me know).

We are also working on doing the same for the Florence and Pisa. If nobody responds in the next couple of days I will just cancel it and let it go back into the general pool.

We are going to cancel 2 for Jumping Back Into Eternal Rome if anyone is interested; however, I don't know how that would work once you cancel on line it would be fair game. There should be some way to change it from one reservation number to another. Let me know if anyone wants to try it.

It's not the bank or American Express that charges the cash advance fee - it's your credit card company. In most cases buying foreign currency using a credit card is considered the same thing as a cash advance - so whatever terms apply to your card will apply. When I bought from BofA, I just had them pull the money from my checking account.

With American Express, if you have a gold or platinum card they'll waive the $15/order fee. Also, they can debit a checking account if you order by phone (as compared to on the web).

You'd think they'd make this easier....

But at least it's not Mark & Spencer....

Only problem with American Express is that they send the currency to my billing address which happens to be a PO Box which UPS doesn't deliver which is the way they send currency. So I would have to see if there is a way to work around. In the mean time, I decided to open a BofA checking account and will drop some money in it and then purchase some currency by drawing from that account instead. I think that will solve my problem. Plus I get an ATM card which might come in handy.

Did we decide when we will get the lanyards? Sometimes I have a lot of pages to ketchup and miss something!

You know I think everyone has set their clocks to Barcelona time because when Andrew & Helen sign off this side of the pond kicks off too:rotfl2:!:surfweb: Where is everyone??? I know, it's too early for a pirate:

If you are a member of AAA you can get your money exchange thru them for no fee. I checked their web site while you guys were napping  and I am going to call our local office tomorrow. I will let you know what I find out.

One nice thing about BofA - they are everywhere.

Yeah, I took a look at them. No fees, but the exchange rate was pretty bad (at least when I checked online). Don't know what they offer at the local office. I guess it depends on how much you're going to exchange.
