The Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party Is my Absolute Favorite!!! Probably more so than the Christmas. Maybe its because I am a October Girl but I cant rave enough about the parade. Any one who is a Fan Of the Haunted Mansion This is a must see event. Just amazing, oh and did anyone mention The CANDY lol. Adults get to Trick Or Treat too.

That Commercial when the guy wore all his clothes that was tooooo funny I feel that way some times lol, seeing how they handle baggage I wonder how any of it makes it to where it needs to go LOL.

I am soooo excited closing in on One Month have to get some packing done since Summer is over here that will make it seem closer

My DD is getting anxious we registered her for her club she was just too excited to sit still. She is Just a Disney Princess, she loves how all the Cast Members call her Princess all the time.

So now I've got to find a place to stay on the 5th, 15th, and 16th...Hopefully I can get something with DVC on the 15th and 16th. I'm not picky at this point. I'm thinking we'd do EPCOT and CP on the 15th, and I just got the tix for the MVMCP on the 16th.

I was telling DH that I want to do the Trick or Treat cruise one year, since we have done New Years already and close to Christmas and were in Disney Land in California for Thanksgiving and the Cruise on Easter & Valentine's Day

We are running out of Holidays

Groundhog Day, President's Day, Arbor Day, Festivus...

I can't beleive we're so close already. November 7th will be a year since we booked, and at the time didn't think it would ever come.

Anyone have Lime Green nail polish ?

Yup, I do! I wore it to my niece's wedding on St. Patrick's Day. It perfectly matched the ribbons that were on the centerpieces. One of those ribbons will be holding my LGMH on my bag!

Also looks like it'll only be about $10 more to change our return transfer from 1 SUV limo to a towncar to WDW for DD and me, and a van to MCO for everyone else.

I've never done WDW after the cruise before. Where do the busses drop off? When we stayed at the Contemporary and Shades of Green, we had to take a taxi to the Poly.

We always go back to WDW after the cruise. It's funny to think of going there to get back to reality! We've been dropped off at whichever resort we're going to--we've gone to All Star Music, The Dolphin, Port Orleans Riverside (going there again this time) and Pop Century. We've never had a problem, they always ask us where we're heading before we leave the port and put us on the correct bus.

My DH is ALWAYS a Party Pooper Won't wear a shirt, Won't dress for Pirates, Won't do 95% of the Dis meets we have planned.. But, he'd take your child and Babysit in an instant.. Game room time for him.. And he'd Take pictures with 20 people's cameras if needed..

Jim used to be a party-pooper, but he's gotten much better with age. Neither one of us really enjoys the Pirate Night, and we don't dress, but he enjoys the meets and the activities, and he'll do whatever we need him to do. He'll even tell the "leaving the ship in his swimsuit" story. If you can listen to that story and not become hysterical, you have absolutely no sense of humor!

Well, it's 10:45 and I only arrived in my office fifteen minutes ago, so maybe I should try doing just a little bit of work! This is the start of my last five-day work week, and it's the next to last Monday that I have to work before vacation. I have a bunch of nice, long weekends coming up!

We always go back to WDW after the cruise.

I always find that the hardest adjustment going to WDW after the cruise is having to pay for everything again. I forget that I need to pay for snacks and meals.

we were there on the on the 9th Oct for a week and they were up then. First time we went to the MNSSHP .
WE did the christmas one for the first 5 times when that started, 1st one was not so good after that they were great!!!!!!!!
Did you mean the HOLIDAY decorations ?????

I was referring to the Halloween decorations as we are looking at a possible September trip and wanted to see if they would be up when we go.

Bill, last year we went to MNSSHP around the 25th of September. They were decorating the park when we were entering. I think all the Halloween stuff is not up daily like Christmas is. The Halloween things seemed temporary, like blow ups and signs.

Nametags are a great idea! How did you attach them? Did you just use a pin to pin them on, or clip them to the bottom?

They were buttons with a pin on the back. I don't have a button making machine though. One of the DISers had one and that was their contribution to the cruise fun.

He's being a party pooper about the whole thing. Saying he's not gonna wear the shirt or anything. But I'm the one packing the luggage.

We can't let him know I've been talking about him... shhhh.

Hmmm. So if we ask him if he is wearing lime green toe nail polish and ask to see it, do you think he will know we've been talking about him?

So last night I asked DD if she wanted to go trick or treating with the neighbor kids, or help me pass out candy. Since we live in a neighborhood with lots of Americans, we get lots of American tricker treaters from both in and outside the neighborhood.

I told her if she wanted to dress up and pass out candy, that I'd buy her a bunch of candy next time we go to the commissary. She quickly agreed that this was a good idea. She gets to stay warm and dry on Halloween night and then gets to pick out her own candy!

DGS and I love to hit the after Halloween candy sales!

Okay after all the MVMCP talk I decided to check on staying at WDW a couple nights after the cruise. Once I started thinking about it, I decided to add a night at the front end too! I called UA, and even though there was a 100 Euro/pp cost to change the flights, the new dates are priced lower so it came out almost even. It was like $4 per person to make the change!

So now I've got to find a place to stay on the 5th, 15th, and 16th. With the scheduled shuttle launch, I'm thinking of staying down in Cape Canaveral on the 5th and hoping the launch goes off as planned.

Hopefully I can get something with DVC on the 15th and 16th. I'm not picky at this point. I'm thinking we'd do EPCOT and CP on the 15th, and I just got the tix for the MVMCP on the 16th.

Beach Club Villas is right at the back entrance to Epcot. We like that one alot.

We have done Christmas, but not yet MNSSHP. Hope to see those decorations some time too.
