Special 5 night Bahamas 9/1/08 Are you going?

Had to get out of wet clothes just came in from a run. It was great to get outside as the weather finally got decent enough.

I arrive on Friday the 11th around 10 in the morning, Pete is flying in earlier. We will be there until Monday night, flying out at 8ish. I am not sure when Pete is leaving :confused3

They need to be in carry on, in baggies, original packaging is a good thing, and tape over the contacts,...... yet another use for duct tape LOL, actually I would use a tape that did to leave a residue.

Just off the phone with a lovely lady from Mass unemloyment!
And to my surprise, unemployment benefit rate has gone up since the last time I collected!

I was working with alot of folks from Texas and LA and I told them make sure the file for unenjoyment in Mass before they go home!
Many where very thankful, as the rates are alot lower in there home states!

Should be a good weekend here.
Above normal temps. 43° heading toward about 55. 60 tomorrow.
Heading north in a few hours. Should be snow left there as they got about a foot earlier this week.

Congrats Peter on getting "laid-off" and being able to head to Florida.
I am envious.
Can't remember the last time I was laid-off.
Guess the next time will be when I sign the retirement papers.
Can now, but will wait a few years to build up the retirement $$$

Good luck to all of those in the 1/2 and full marathon.
That would be a cool thing to do. Maybe next year for me.
Bad training habits prevented me from doing it this year.:rolleyes:

Well as many of you know Jenn & the other girls from Work, Including Dr. Kevin Mooney, who is the Boss.

Have taken on the 1/2 marathon.
This started out as Fun for the Bunch of them :yay:
Jenn, has made sure that each and every person has a DVC room to stay in!
@ the Boardwalk!

Along the way it has turned into a way for them to raise Money for Boys & Girls Club of Woburn, Ma.

The Girls at the office have, posted on the big board @ the office asking for there support!

Well, they have raised over $2500.00 :woohoo: for the Cause!
Each Girl recieves donations from there Patients !
Hence, a little contest has emerged!
Who can raise the most!

This is where you come in! :hug:

They know, that Jenn is the Disney Queen! :lmao: Yes, Everything Disney!
(she has helped more people in that office plan trips or Save money on a Disney trip!) :rotfl2:

They, also know of her Wacky Friends on the DIS, I think that the fact that Jenn will see about 50 to 100 other Disers (That she knows, im sure she will meet others!) during her walk is Great!

The other Girls will be like who is that, and Jenn will explain, oh Just a Friend I have Cruised with (insert amount of times here) or Met at The World!

The Dis is a very powerful Thing! :wizard:

(Note: I'm also posting this on the main board, thought I might catch a few of you on our own cruise w/ this question)

My family and inlaws will be on this cruise (me, dh, dd who turns 6 on Sept 10, nephew that will be 4 1/2, and my about 7 month old).

Is anyone doing WDW before or after the cruise? I'm trying to decide what to do! The weekend before we sail is Labor Day...I'm thinking the crowds will be horrible, but we can come down Friday (we drive from about 7 hours away), and spend Sat/Sun and do at least MK, get up Monday and drive to the boat. Get off on Sat. and drive home, exhausted.

OR

We can get off the boat Sat., drive to WDW and do MK for the rest of hte day Sat. and then until 3ish Sunday and drive home very exhausted. We need to be back b/c dd will be missing school and dh needs to get back to work.

We weren't plannign on goign to WDW, but I'm now thinking that we're essentially right there, why not just do at least MK before we head back. I will be travelling w/ dd--whose 6th bday is on the 10th.

What is anyone else doing? I posted another post earlier on the main board about either doing Cape C or WDW, but I've decided to not to Cape C and focus on the WDW thing.

My DS10 (will be 11 on the 30th) and I (28) are staying at the Pop Century on Fri and Sat night before the cruise.

We are not sure what we'll do while we're there but the room was only $82.00 a night!!!!
