Glad I wasn't on that flight.

What was the weather like to knock out your internet etc.It was snowing then our street virgin media cable, broadband and tv too cut off lucky we have tv on but neighbour have no tv, no phone and no internet!! Engineer came out on Friday and it won't work until Sat night! Oh I missed it for three days on internet lol

Great feeling isn't it? We paid our balance last week.

Yes, ya ya and also we have to pay flight by End of Feb too

Angie, today is day 5 for us....yeah.....we both really feel like this time is the last time.....there's no going back now. This is good. It makes it a little easier too because it helps to lock it in and stay resolved.

Thanks for all your help, I know we could not have done it without you. I know it's only day 5 and we have the rest of our lives to stay quit, but you have helped tremendously and when it gets very hard for me, maybe in two months or so, I will be calling you. So far, so good and it's not necessary. I can only hope it continues.

I actually didn't have it friday night....so perhaps today???

I still have 10 more pounds to go to fit totally into the normal chart though. (I'm actually thinner now than when I graduated from college 18 years ago!)

My mom passed away in June of 1999. Thanksgiving was very hard as was Christmas. They were equally hard when my dad had passed in 1995.

Mother's day in 2000 was really, really difficult, but DH Ted, DD Alex and my DSis who equally missed them, really made it easier with all of their love and all of the wonderful thngs that we did as a family.

Your DIS family will help tremendously on the upcoming Mom's Day. We will all remember our angels on our shoulders...

I read they did away with the theme bar nights.

On our 7-night in November, they did away with the decades themes ('70s, '80s), and had different themes ("One Hit Wonders").

Since the PC cruise is 15 nights, I would not be surprised if they revive the decades themes for variety. Just as on the 2005 PC cruises, we had a different dinner menu every night.

I think I should go wake her and tell her I have a breakfast burrito for her. (My DBil left for church about an hour ago.)

When sending out my PMs to check everyone's status.....here's what I received from ACA Port Authority:

Not sailing, but, will recieve the ship in Acapulco, looking at welcome festivities for the arrival in may and august.

I believe he is the same DISNEY fan that took the ship through the PC last time. Correct me if I'm wrong.

So he will be receiving the ship in Acapulco this time. That's cool too.

In 2005, "ACA Port Authority" posted helpful information on the DIS and other cruise boards. He is not a cruise passenger. He is employed at the Acapulco port to promote tourism in Acapulco.

I don't believe he has any connection with the Panama Canal.

I have not seen it, but Alex got me the book for Christmas. The original book is copyright 1954. It was really good, and then the end was really poor. I just wonder if the movie ended the same way. If it did, I understand completely, because the book also had several short stories, and I started reading the next short story not realizing it was something new until it did not fit with I am Legend, and said to myself, that was the end?

The movie ends differently. There are actually lots of changes from the book - the movie is more like Omega Man at times. (Which was also based on the book). This is one of the two books where I liked the movie better.

(The other was Sleeping with the Enemy).

We're actually seeing a little sun in among the clouds today but I don't thnk the rain is over yet. Luckily San Diego did not get anywhere near what the early predictions were. (Which is great for all the areas that were burned, mudslide danger is extremely high now.)

Hopefully everyone else in CA sees the sun today too!
