Yesterday I noticed our cars odometer is close to hitting 100,000 and I thought to myself - we're going to get a tomorrow.

Am I spending too much time on the Dis?

no.....I don't want to bring them bad luck. The skins were doing well until I came into the room!

John really wants to do Gasparilla, which is the weekend we are supposed to host the DCL party. I haven't heard back from them if I can change the date or not. My dad is doing the race and then there is a big pirate invasion. It's pretty cool but not something I am dying to do!

Also, what days they are on?

It's fine doing the project Marilyn, I just feel bad about so many people with questions and I can't take the time to answer each of them. I hope they see my previous post and don't think that I'm rude because I ignored them.

I have gotten responses with cancellations, on the EB and still comming. There does seem to be a lot that are still coming and I'm only half way thru the list. Doing the minimal posters still.....up to 5 times. Wait until I get up to the ones that post daily. We'll have one very MASTER list.

I weighed myself after almost one week of no smoking today and I only lost 2 lbs. I usually lose 5-6 lbs. each week. I didn't do anything different with the diet program. So I have to attribute it to stopping smoking....it changed my metabolism and slowed it down since smoking increases your metabolism as a stimulant. It's good that I didn't gain but that's not a big loss in a week. So far I have lost 34 lbs in 3 months and went down 2 sizes. I need to go down 2 more sizes in the next 4 months. I would have done it with the weight loss while smoking, I'm concerned about the weight loss without smoking, since it's now decreasing....will I still make it?

How very strange these storms are for you on the west coast. Usually, we get the storms here in the winter, not you guys.

This was a strange storm, I can't remember one so bad in years. We really never get hit this bad this long, usually it's just a flash and then gone, but this seems to be hanging on and on.

V, I understand the House Parties to be on the specific day, because everyone does it on that day. BUT....no one checks in on you if you did it or not. I think it's really just a new way of internet marketing. Unless you are trying to win a prize for best party I'd suggest doing what works best for you.

Angie, today is day 5 for us....yeah.....we both really feel like this time is the last time.....there's no going back now. This is good. It makes it a little easier too because it helps to lock it in and stay resolved.

Thanks for all your help, I know we could not have done it without you. I know it's only day 5 and we have the rest of our lives to stay quit, but you have helped tremendously and when it gets very hard for me, maybe in two months or so, I will be calling you. So far, so good and it's not necessary. I can only hope it continues.

Watched the highlights on ESPN Kaylee - GREAT game! I bet you guys are sky high - but now on to the frozen tundra of Lambeau! I will be rooting for your Hawks in the NFC.

V...according the DCL the houseparty can be anytime that weekend...we are doing ours on Friday night because we are in Seattle Sat and Sun. But, like Nan said, they really won't know, except for your invitations and party info on the website....but you could send out another email to everyone saying the real date of the party!

Deb...losing weight while quitting smoking is HUGE!!!! That is Great! Don't be discouraged by the numbers, just cheer the direction.

Just finished packing up christmas. Now, off to watch the last quarter of the game....Later, we are finally going to sit down and go through excursion possibilities and talk with the girls about what they are thinking. I feel so behind in planning.....
