All i can say is thank you for the three wonderful years everyone, I would have liked to see VMK go to pay to play rather then close forever. I certainly would have most likely paid but yet again, VMK messes up, and this one takes the cake. My best wishes go out to VMK Staff to finding another Job. And I also would consider them maybe opening VMK again, but i seriously doubt it.

While I realize it is pointless, but I would like vmk to release everything that was ever made, and have a going out of business sale. I think it would be great to finally be able to get some of the stuff I have always wanted.

I could never move to any of the other Disney online games, I am in VMK only because of the parks. I'm with everyone who is willing to pay to play VMK... Put that in your signatures now, everyone.

Just got the information that Disney's Virtual Magic Kingdom is closing on May 21, 2008. I am shocked, dismayed, overwhelmed, disgusted, annoyed, and above all, I feel betrayed. VMK is my favorite hobby. I LOVE PLAYING VMK.

I've met tons of wonderful people in VMK... not just Players, but Cast Members too.

I love playing the Pirates of the Carribean mini-game.
I love playing the Haunted Mansion mini-game. I love buying and decorating rooms, doing Disney Magic from my magic pins, running Quests for fellow players.
I've been playing since before Day 1.
I bought Disney videos to get the Disney Rewards Codes to enter to get virtual stuff.
I've made visits to Disneyland to do the in-Park Quests.
I've bought the Pirates Quest Pins.
I bought the Kellogg's cereals to get the codes for the Magic.
My husband bought me a VMK t-shirt for Christmas.

I can't believe that it's just going away. I guess Disney hasn't made enough money off of me to make the game continue? Okay, I'll pay for a monthly subscription to VMK? Will this help? I just can't see myself getting interested in Toontown or Club Penguin, I'm 36 years old. I LOVE the Pirates of the Carribean movies, but I don't think that I'm interested in ONLY being a Pirate.

I just am so shocked. I don't know what to say. I don't know if pleading or complaining will help... what's the point?? I guess I just feel the need to communicate my feelings even if it doesn't help preserve the Virtual Magic Kingdom, my Laughing Place.

Really sad when you're seriously considering cancelling your trip so that you can have that one "last night" with friends

i know vmk closing is hard on all. Everyone has made good friends through the years. Sadly vmk will close for now. not a certain time when it will be back.
All Sad. Very Upset And Mad

but now through all that look back at the laughs and friends.

There was so many things I wanted to do on VMK!

I'm just glad I'm not as addicted, or else this would of been the end of my life.

Please please PLEASE DO NOT CALL TO HARASS. The people on the other end of the phone have NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS DECISION.

That being said, I'm dead inside thinking that there are so many people I wouldn't be able to keep in touch with after VMK ends.

That's the part that hurts me the most. I'm truly glad I met everyone I've met, and I am glad we can still keep in touch with DIS friends..

You should cancel it and make plans to go somewhere else, show disney you are not happy with them and can spend your real money some place else.

Aengus, Suggestion for you. Please have a VMK blowout finale podcast. I'd like for us to call in and say what VMk meant to us and stuff like that. I'd for sure call in. I have in the past.

I went on vmk tonight to escape the fact that I just found out my grandmother has lymphoma and it is so sad to see this coming to an end.

My friends from vmk and dis and the lovely zeta's have helped me through so many rough patches in the last few years...
