A trip to WDW w/NO kids? Hubba Hubba! Wink Wink! UPDATE: EXTRA, EXTRA!!! Pg 158

Day 2: Part 4 - Little Mexicans in Fantasyland!

So when I last left off, we had just enjoyed our 2nd time in the Laugh Floor. We decided we needed a little snack so we bought a couple of Kosher dill pickles from a little stand (sorry, no pic but would you believe I had this in my notes? )

Now, this next part is a little fuzzy but I’m going to go by the order of my pictures.

We decided to make our way over to Fantasyland, when we realized Dream Along with Mickey was going on at the castle stage.

Mike was enjoying this show.
P9160107.jpg

but what the heck am I looking at?
P9160108.jpg

Probably a cute kid. Cute kids make me smile :goodvibes:

The costuming for this show is really cute.
P9160109.jpg

I don’t think we stuck around for the end. I tend to get bored with these things. If I had children that were immersed in this show, I would most certainly let them watch. We just had something else in mind.

I had been asking Mike to do IASW all day, and he kept refusing. So do we finally head there?

Not yet! We want to see Mickey and friends on the big screen!
We may have had a fastpass. Sorry, can’t remember. :confused3
So we head to…
P9160110.jpg

Of course we needed the obligatory 3-D glasses pic! (hmm…we look a little sweaty there don’t ya think?)

That show is just SO great! They just couldn’t have done it any better.

After we walk out of there, Mike starts off walking….I follow him and wouldn’t you know it--he was leading me to…..
P9160113.jpg

Woohoo!!! I thanked him for going with me, and he said, “Well, I just wanted to see the little Mexicans and get some pics” :lmao: (just so no one thinks he’s being racist I should mention he is part Mexican--though he doesn’t look it does he?)

He took a TON of pics in here:

P9160114.jpg

What he came to see:
P9160116.jpg

More countries (that shall remain nameless for now)

P9160123.jpg

P9160124.jpg

P9160125.jpg

I love these hula girls
P9160126.jpg

It’s almost over..
P9160127.jpg

P9160128.jpg

Now that we had the infamous song stuck in our heads, it was getting to be about that time where we head back to the room for a little rest and a change of clothes.

But there was one last thing we REALLY wanted to see before we left. Just what do you think that is??

NEXT: UPDATE! Day 2: Part 5 - 999 Happy Haunts

great update and pics.

I have not seen the show in front of the castle yet. I hope to.

I did book my flight for this year's trip!!!    :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :yay: :yay: :yay: :yay:

We will leave N.O. at 8:00 AM and arrive in Orlando at 10:45 AM!!

On the way back we will leave Orlando airport at 4:50 PM and arrive home at 5:45 PM!

We booked through Southwest with a 15% off Ding. We got the earliest outgoing flight on the 13th, and the latest flight back on the 20th...and the total comes to....$302.10. The outgoing flight went up by $5 since yesterday, so I had to jump on it today since tomorrow is the last day for the 15% ding. It just feels great to know we have it booked already, and we will be arriving at WDW by lunchtime!!!!!

SO AWESOME!!!

Great update

Yay, for letting ya go on IASW:dance3:

My favorit section is the blue and white section, so pretty. I have no idea what country that is, but so pretty:goodvibes

  Woohoo for booking the flights!! I will never fly, although I wish I wasn't so scared of it sometimes...Arriving in Disney in 2 hours and 45 minutes? Soooo tempting!!!:rolleyes1

I'd definitely have to be highly drugged up lol.

Loved the update! The hula girls are my favorite in the ride :thumbsup2 Yay for Mike bringing you on it!

I agree with Scott - you should try it atleast once. I used to be deathly afraid of flying, but it became a necessity for my job. I talked to my Dr., got some anxiety medicine that I take right before the flight - and I am good to go. I still don't like flying, but I can do it.

Yes he did take a lot of pictures in there....and I loved them all, just didn't want to quote them all again  But I wanted to say, I love those hula girls too. :thumbsup2

:woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: GREAT job Cheri!! I don't blame you for pouncing on that deal. I just don't think you could have gotten a better deal even if you did wait till the last min like last year. I'm sure you feel so much better. Now you can relax and not worry about booking anything for your trip. Just wait for September to get here. :goodvibes

great update and pics.

I have not seen the show in front of the castle yet. I hope to.

It's pretty good...try to catch it this year.

ACTUALLY you have to figure in the time zone shift. It's only scheduled as 1 hour and 45 minutes. However, last year I think it was an hour and 1/2 flight.

u should really try. you never know. if u don't like it then rent a car home.

I agree with Scott. If you book today you could get a flight through SW
and use the promotion code DING15 to get 15% the already great prices. For your dates it's $74 going, and $63 coming back. (although if leave on the 4th instead you could get $63 going, too. Hmm maybe you could extend the trip a day? :lmao:) Geez I must be bored if I'm looking up flights for other people (ahem Sharky)

The blue and White is my favorite too!! I love the ferris wheel at the very end. :cloud9:

seems that's everyone's favorite part!

Lesley

Ooh I didn't realize I didn't post about the airline. Silly me! It was Southwest. I'm going to edit that post to include that.

I know! I can't believe I'm going to be at WDW so early! Maybe there will be less people in the DME lines this time. It's so busy on Saturdays, but it's the best day for us to arrive to maximize our vacation time in between working days. Last year we arrived a little before 1:00 (on a Saturday). I'm hoping that 2 hours will make a difference in the line.

Girl you are SO close! I'm jealous. I can't wait to read all about your trip!

:cool1: thanks for partying with me!

thanks! I do, I do! I feel wonderful! It's going to be so awesome! I have to wake up earlier than last time...but who cares! I'm usually too excited to sleep anyway!!!!!

I didn't even know they sold pickles...

they sure do. I may be wrong about when exactly we got them, but I remember getting them from some type of stand. I want to say it was in Adventureland now that I think about it.

Thanks for all the great comments. Next time if we get pickles I'll be sure to take a picture! :thumbsup2

:lmao: at least I'm right about something

Yeah, who cares about having to wake up earlier. At least you don't have to wake up as early as I do!! (2am :scared: ) Unless we drive down the evening before the 13th. Which the more I think about it the more I wanna do :thumbsup2
