with the most beautiful dress in the sale, it was 70% off, only£36 instead of £120...wouls have been an insult not to buy it
i ll post a picture tomorrow and you can tell me if i canwear my baby pink shoes..its pale grey chiffon...do you think that ll be ok?

My Irregular Choice shoes have arrived and are utterly gorgeous. They are also surprisingly comfortable. I have decided to wear them at work to start breaking them in. I am well impressed that they fit. I normally have a horrible time finding any shoes that fit as I have very wide feet.

Well, I went shopping after work and came back with nothing.

I saw a really nice dress at the Monsoon sale last week, but for some reason, I did not buy it. I regretted that ever since. I went back today to see if it was still there, but of course no such luck.

To cheer myself up, I decided to head to Schuh to try on the Irregular Choice shoes that I loved so much on Bethan's thread:

I was so happy that they had them in my size and they are even more gorgeous in real life than they are in the photo. Unfortunately the strap over the top of the foot was too tight. I was sorely tempted to buy them anyway and hope that it will stretch (it was not much too tight), but I was sensible and decided that they are really too expensive to just sit in the wardrobe if they don't stretch. If they had not been full price, I think I would have bought them.

When I got home, I browsed online to see if they were on sale anywhere. No such luck, but I found another pair of shoes that I fell in love with. I thought they might work well with my outfit for the Friday night of the Girlie Weekend. I am going to wear a black lace dress with a dusky pink underdress. What do you guys think. Would those shoes work with this?

I still have not decided on what shoes to get - but I love those ones above, that I just may have to buy them anyways.

And the way you describe your dress...I think they would go lovely with the second pair of shoes you showed. They've got lots of colours in them so I can seem them going with most things!

I did my cruise shopping months ago. I did however get two pairs of flip flops in the Crocs sale today, which will be perfect for wearing around the pool and in the Rainforest Room.

They are so comfortable.

As I can finally get onto the DIS (what happened yesterday???) I thought a share a few of my recent purchases for the WBTA that I'm sailing on in less than 2 weeks, people!!!

I can't post pics right now of my 2 formal dresses as they're at the dry cleaners (I didn't want to take any chances...) but I will once they're back. Actually, I bought one from eBay so found this pic online...

I do have a tiara (gotta love eBay) to wear with one of my full length frocks for the Prince & Princesses night and for the Champagne Girls "do":

There's a Villains theme night and lots of DISers are wearing purple, so I got this comfy maxi dress to see me thro'...

I may get a mask to wear too - undecided at the mo...

I bought a couple of Joe Brown tops in their 60% off end of sale (heaven forbid I should EVER pay full price for anything!!

Also shopped till I dropped for dresses at Wallis - I have once again loved their clothes this season and the 25% discount didn't hurt...

Anyway, that gives you the general idea. The only thing I haven't bought are any new shoes/sandals - I'm waiting for a pair of gold wedges to arrive but apart from that...
