This thread seems to have veered off topic. There are plenty of off-topic threads on these boards but it would be great if we could keep this one about the 'official' podcast cruise schedule.
Thanks

This is actually an idea we're kicking around.
Apparently for the DVC Member Cruises they do a group shot on the beach and use a crane to lift the photographer high enough to get everyone in the picture. I thought since many of the group will be out there for the BBQ already this might be the perfect opportunity.
We just have to see how much they are going to charge me for the crane
Dear all:
Please take this request in the respectful manner it is intended.
I booked a future "dummy date" cruise onboard the ship, which we then transferred to the 12/12/10 cruise. I have also been a sporadic Podcast listener. We transferred to this cruise prior to it being tapped "The Podcast Cruise". As such, we had NO way to be official Podcast cruisers.
We have felt completely left out of the community and it is only getting worse the closer we get to the cruise. If we had known this was a Podcast cruise, we would have booked it in that manner.
We are not big excursion people so the events on the ship are much more interesting to us. Is there any thought to allowing "non Podcast cruisers" to participate in the official events via an additional fee, like a hard-ticket event in the parks? I'm sure this would help bring additional profit to Dreams Unlimited.
I look forward to any thoughts/feedback you have on this matter.
Respectfully,
Gayle

The rule is that you have to be booked thru Dreams Unlimited to get all the perks included in the PCC2.0.
As far as i know that is the only way to get in the events organized, as far as i know there is no way that you could join the official extra's that are involved with the podcast cruise.
But you and everybody else that isn't booked thru DU can join us in all the unofficial events that are being organized.
You can see here what all the extra meets are:

The events during the cruise that have purple writing are the official podcast cruise events (and are exclusive for official podcast cruisers) all the other events are open to everybody.
I have this EXACT same question as our excursion is scheduled for 11:15 as well. Any assistance would be appreciatedDoes anyone know if you have to be early for excursions or roughly how long it might take to get from the theater to wherever one meets their excursions?
I'm travelling with a non-podcast listener who has little interest in the guest speakers or the concert. I figured, no problem, she will go to the pool and I will go to the guest speakers and the concert. Well, now we have an excursion planned with an 11:15 departure in Nassau that she's very excited about. I feel that I can't cancel it, as she has been really good about me being all excited about podcast stuff that she doesn't understand. And I can live without the concert. But, I'm a Disney history geek and really, really want to hear the guest speakers.
I guess my question is ... does an 11:15 excursion departure mean that arriving at 11:13 in a flat out run from the theater is ok? Or are you expected to be early? Alternately, would I be considered unbearably rude if I came to hear the speakers and had to sneak out 10 minutes early? I can be very quiet. And I'll sit by the door.
Any insight would be apreciated.

I don't think it would be an issue if you snuck out from the seminars a few minutes early - of course you know that's when all the good stuff will happen
What event is the "one" that everyone is looking forward to?
