It's a northern unwritten rule...no white after labor day. IMHO, doesn't apply to FL or carribbean, I say go for it.

Thanks. Everything we got was always on our bed. But you're right, if the navigators fit, then I'm sure it will be no problem with an envelope with just a tad of cash.

DCL has no problem sticking that nasty bill under our doors the last morning of the cruise.

We worked out all our last minute transportation details over the weekend so I'm a little less stressed now. And, I finished up my cruise shopping today during lunch. Love Payless! I'll be starting packing on the 27th when I have the house all to myself for the day and then finishing up New Year's weekend while my in-laws watch DD for the weekend. I love it when a plan comes together.

I'm really enjoying this weather. It's so nice to have a use for the fireplace in our house and a reason to drink hot chocolate (with LOTS of marshmallows!) It actually felt like Christmas time this weekend while I was shopping. The pictures of the snow look beautiful, but I realize I don't have to live and drive in it.

Welcome to all the new folks, this is a really nice bunch of people! Lynne, I won't be complaining about Chicago's winter after reading your posts! Glad you and family have stayed safe through it all.

I've started the packing pile. It's really meager, though. I've lost a lot of weight this year and don't have many warm weather clothes that fit. I found a few clearance capris on line for $10 so that helps. Party in the laundry room anyone?

On sea days I'm planning to head to the fitness center early am, maybe check out some of their fitness classes. Any one else interested?

I'm dragging my tired body to bed now. Have a great day tomorrow!

Friend is on the PodCast cruise in Nassau today. She says its cold and windy. And no Castaway Cay today. They are staying tied up in Nassau and will try again to get to CC.

It is very cold here tonight currently 31 in Panama City with 21 for the low but by Wednesday back in the 50's and 70's by the weekend! The even allowed school kids to miss school today and tomorow if they have to ride the bus and have no other way to get to school. Stores do not really sell warm clothes. A few turtlenecks and sweaters but nothing for big time cold. I start my PT tomorow. Brings back bad memories of my ACL surgery.

Please do. Wear what colour you like when you like. I know it is a custom in some areas over there, but it is a rather odd one to be sure. White is lovely in winter, and is a very natural colour at this time of year after all. Snow, snow, snow!!!

Hi again all, especially my fellow Trekies. So I am watching the 3 A.M. showing of TNG. They are showing Tapestry. I love this one and it has one of my favorite lines. It is when captain Picard dies. He is shaking hands with Q, and Q says, "Welcome to the after life Jean-Luc. Your Dead". Then the look he gives Q is priceless. I find it hilarious.

I finally got word from our TA that she has recieved and sent on our Cruise Documents. YEAH they should be here by thursday latest! (wish I had more patience- but I've been on the edge of my seat since everyone started posting about recieving theirs.)

Yes, I had to get up REALLY early to get a spinning bike on the ta cruise.

Morning everyone! Found out this morning that I earned A's in both of my classes this semester. This is a HUGE relief as my professor ripped the first half of my thesis to shreds. She thankfully allowed me to rewrite it. My traditional treat to myself is a new pair of shoes when I get a 4.0 for a semester. (The last two semesters I didn't). I really want a pair of sparkly silver shoes... what do y'all think of these:
