Hi Millie!

I am looking to get a "cruisemeet" logo of sorts to put on magnets for the FE my cruise is doing this summer. One idea I wound in your files would be to change this design to our cruise dates:

We are sailing from August 7-12 on the Dream and it's a "Double Dip" Bahamian cruise. Do you think you could find a way to make some simple changes without overcrowding the design with text? Do you have anything else you could make work? Thanks!!

Hello everybody!

I'm getting close to the 250 page mark, so I need to make a few rules that will help me out some.

I will not be taking any more requests from this point on. Please understand that if you make a request after this point I will not fill it.

Looking through all of my posts I realize that I am really far behind. I am really honored that so many requests are being made. This tells me that I have done a good job. I am going to take the time to finish all requests that have been made thus far and use the rest of this thread to post them in.

Going to school full time in addition to my every day life activities are really demanding on my time and energy. I really enjoy DISigning and will not quit so..

When I am all caught up here and the thread closes down, I will start thread number 3 ready for new requests!

Thank you kindly for taking the time to read this. I look forward to dreaming up new things and helping anyone who might need my help.

You deserve your time for you and your family. We are losing a great designer. Please come back when you are finished. We need more people like you to help keep the disney magic alive. I am getting ready to laminate and create my magnets and was wondering if I should wait for the name fills or hat? If you think you will get to it, I will definitely wait. I can do it as late as Wednesday morning if you think you will have time. If you think you won't have time, just let me know and I will just work with what I have. Thank you so much for everything. My twins are going to freak out when they see these magnets.

I was looking through your name fills to see if I could get creative and figure out a way to make my twins' names out of what you had since I need to make my magnets by tomorrow, and as I went through the Gs I found my request for Gil! I had a party at my desk. It is adorable. I have checked back to see if you got to Eliana, but haven't found her. Just wondering if she was in the works? or perhaps the Gil was for someone else? Not such a common name so I just assumed it was for me In the meantime I will just be a 4shared stalker

You definitely deserve to take some time off for yourself. You give more of your free time than anybody and I hope everybody understands how great you are.

Millie, I forgot to ask you where you told me you got the clip art Mickey Heads that you did for me for the teachers with their names in it. You gave me the sight and I don't know what I did with it. The other question is how do these people make the magnets, what kind of paper or material do they use to print this on and I just saw the one lady said something about she laminates them. You are my mentor on this stuff, what will I do without you?????

Wow....I have watched requests for your work come piling in...you are a well respected Disigner! Sad that you are closing shop for a bit, happy that you are taking a break!
I posted back on Feb 5th, post #3193 for our trip that was supposed to start today, March 1st. Due to dd's ear infection we are pushing it back and not leaving until next Tuesday, March 8th. If you get a chance to fill our request by then, it would be great!

I was able to perform some novice power point magic and apply the labels that I wanted to your blanks (thanks for providing those!!!!), so you can cancel my order off of your list. After realizing how many order you had and how extremely busy you are, I felt guilty asking for something that I could likely do myself. I just wanted to make sure that I could actually do it. I am sure it is not nearly as good as yours, but it's okay.

Thanks so much for the nice comment. I used a program called tagxedo to make the mickey heads. tagxedo.com. To make magnets you can buy magnet paper that you can print on, or the way I did it was that I printed on card stock and laminated. You can get self stick laminating paper at any craft store or Wal-Mart or Target too I think. They sell magnet strips you can place on the back when you are done laminating. Hope that helps.

Millipie--- I wanted to thank you for the Cruise Monica name. I am so glad I got the other request for the WDW 3 families thing (Nolan's, Stephen's and Scott's families)(post#3398) in before you were done. If you can't get to it just let me know.
