Note to self: Do NOT cross PFlamingo!! LOL!
If I was a dog, I'd be a terrier.
I felt so bad for the gate manager who, to her credit, saw what happened and told a grown man to "suck it up" as she wasn't going to let the plane go with a mom split apart from her little boys.
She's my cousin - the pit bull.
Stamy is doing good thanks, he has managed to rub his head on anything & everything at any opportunity and has finally got all the scabs off. We've stil not had the lab results back I called them yesterday to get it chased up but still haven't heard back, i'm going to call again in a minute.
Good for Stamy - that's the spirit! We're still keeping fingers and paws crossed for him.
I need to call mine, too, and see what's up. I'm kind of assuming no news is good news. I'm pretty sure "Doc" would call me if anything was wrong.
Do I want a handfull of M&M's or uncovered chocolate then the answer would be no thank you.
Darn. Now I'll have to think of something else.
One year on a flight home from Hawaii, I was just getting myself situated in my seat when we were confronted by two "ladies" angry at us for being in their seats. We vacated the seats as soon as humanly possible to try to appease them. DH calmly notified the flight attendants of what had happened and they went to check into it.
The moral of this story is .....
Yep. Which is why you smile sweetly and keep your voice calm and steady when inquiring about the "no pedophile" guarantee.
WooHoo for that! We enjoyed flying Hawaiian Air as well a few years ago. I'm really an easy-going person... and have literally flown hundreds of times for business (was AAdvantage Gold) and pleasure (like when I worked for an airline)... but was just amazed the airline cannot remedy the situation in advance and has a policy to wait until the morning of travel. An empty seat exists right next to me (along with 80 others in coach), but they can't touch it.
Worst case scenario, my 14-month old becomes a lapchild once onboard, and my just-turning-5-year-old sits next to me in the baby's assigned seat. (Thank goodness under age 2 can be a lapchild!) So what we spent an extra 30,000 frequent flyer miles for the baby to have her own seat... It is well worth it to me to have my young children in arm's reach should they not be able to seat us together as we were originally booked. I have a resolution even if the airline can't resolve it the morning of.
Want me to call them for you? My inner-terrier is in need of a good run.
One of our roommates, Lovingthemouse, will certainly be happy for this cruise! She lives near Springfield MA, and they are without power tonight after yesterday's tornado. Her school is in the area that was hit - but SHE wasn't there at the time, TG, but on a plane returning from Florida. Her 99 yo mother's home was also spared, but the rest of that street was pretty much destroyed.
I saw this on the morning news! I had to go to work, so I only saw a few pictures, but it looked bad. I'm so glad our fellow cruiser and her mom are okay.
