Internet time is almost up. We enjoyed Epcot this morning. We were asked to be the Family of the Day at the Living Seas, and any other time we would have jumped at that, but Jill had Bella all psyched up to do characters and Character Spot, and while she had the momentum and the chance to do do it with no line, she wanted to roll with that. She thanked the CM so much and told her the situation.
It turned out to be a good decision, because Bella finally did get close enough to the characters to hand them her autograph book. Then we did the 'Hold Sissy's hand trick' and immediately telling her what a good job she was doing. We did the same thing at every stop, and she made it all the way! Not a big thing for most people, but Jill and I both had tears welling up in our eyes. There was one moment of walking backward when Donald dropped the book and started closer to Bella, but that was it. She would not touvh them, but she finally got in the pictures - alone - and smiled, too!
We will mourn the loss of being Family of the Day with Crush and Nemo, because it came with several perks, but our grief will be cushioned with the sweet memories we have of our morning with Mickey and Friends.
Okay, the sands of DIS time are ticking away. Have a MAGICAL day, everyone!

The girls were playing when it was still just a little light with some sparkly toys right in front of the video camera! AND they were waving! It was a great show put on by the Disney folks and sent out by some very kind DIS friends!
