Us either, we usually (well more Sean) have 1 adult beverage per night other than that we would rather save the calories for smoothies and dessert :rotfl:

Well, now I read that they went back to the old rules. :confused3:confused3

Actually, I feel sorry for Robin :lmao:

ouch.:upsidedow:rotfl:

Well, since Robin has the score cards and is on the look-out for men who are either Italian, in-uniform, or wears a cowboy hat, I am kinda interested in seeing what cruise she books... :cloud9::woohoo::cool1::lmao:

i'm interested in seeing what she books too.popcorn:: perhaps i'm not going to get an invite on her next cruise...it may be a "babes only" cruise.popcorn::

getting close to time for everyone to start receiving their cruise documents!:woohoo::yay:

that means its time to start the "who will get their cruise doc first" poll...
simply pick a date you think your cruise docs will arrive and send payment $10 per entry to "Underdog"..then whoevers picks the closest date for the arrival of their docs will win the prize. (or a Vinylmation of your choice.;);))

Just postmark the envelope "UNDERDOG" and i'm sure the government will know where to send it.:rotfl:

Hmmmm... this has a deja vu feeling to it... Didn't we try this with the grandchildren delivery dates? Did anyone ever win? :rotfl2:

So, does Underdawg have a superhero ice fortress lair like Superman? :3dglasses

Is it too late to join the Parley Party? :)

We are considering booking this cruise with you all -- myself, husband, and two boys ages 9 and 11. Also grandma and grandpa are coming. We're all in Minnesota. We have rooms on hold right now and need to talk to the in-laws and make the final decision tonight.

I am excited but it feels so last minute.... we have cruised on the Magic twice before and always planned way in advance. (We're also in the middle of a kitchen remodel so my life feels very chaotic right now!!)

Woohoo, Tana, the more the merrier - my DS would love for there to be another boy around his age (he will be just under a month shy of 9 when we cruise).

wilma-bride, that is super!! My son will be thrilled.

quick question - what night is formal night, and when is Pirate night for this cruise?

Last year formal night was Sunday night and Pirate night was Tuesday night. I don't know if it changed this year :confused3 :confused3 :confused3

Welcome :wizard:

My name is Crystal and I will be traveling with my DH and DS' 14 and 13. This is our second disney cruise and second one this time of year. We love it and can't wait!!!

Formal night is supposed to be the first Day at Sea and Pirate Night is St. Maarten night, so yes, Sunday and Tuesday. Captain's Gala (semi-formal) is supposed to be the last Day at Sea (Thursday). Of course, "there are no guarantees."

Just wanted to drop by for a quick hello:wave: We (me, DH, DD3 and DD11 months) will be joining you guys in 8 weeks :goodvibes This is our first DCL cruise, so we are super excited! I did post some first-time cruiser questions on the general page and would appreciate input if anyone here has any. Can't wait to meet everyone!

Welcome Tana & Family!
Welcome Jim & Beth!

So happy you could join us!

I'm Kathy traveling with my brother Frank and my Mom & Dad, Fran & Ralph.

Don't forget to check the first page for lots of information.

I3) We have late seating for dinner and are on the waiting list. Has anyone experienced late seating with young children? We are from the West Coast and were thinking of keeping the kids on our time zone, so 8:30pm would be around our normal dinner time.

Thank you in advance!

Welcome aboard to all the newbies on the thread!! :)

While I don't have little kids with us....we are cruising with friends who have children. We too are coming from the west coast. We have late dinner seating --and prefer it. So do our friends.
I think it depends on your eating style.

Where on the west coast are you from? We're from the Stanford Univ area. Our friends are from the Disneyland area...

Hey Hey! Welcome to all the newcomers! Can't wait to meet y'all. I'm Robb (very, VERY DH) and will be traveling with my DW Amy and our DD5 Maddie. We're all very excited for our first ever Disney cruise. We've been looking forward to a Disney cruise for about 4-5 years now. We first started planning a DCL when our friends' DS was going to turn two. We had decided to wait until he was two so he would at least be able to get something out of the cruise (since it is SUPPOSED to be kid-centric and all). But then before his 2nd B-day, my wife got preggers with our DD. So, we started planning anew for a DCL by the time she turned 2. Well, wouldn't you know it, before Maddie turned 2, our friends went and got preggers with their DD. So, we had to start planning all over again for a DCL when their DD got old enough. And here we are, DCL has been booked and fully paid, and we're less than two months out from our sailing date. And nobody is preggers!!!! Or, at least if they are, they darned better keep it under wraps until AFTER we get back from the cruise. Nobody would know anyway. They could just blame all the vomiting on sea-sickness, right?!?!?!

Anyway, we can't wait to meet our fellow Parleyers! For those just joining our group, be sure to pack a pair of binoculars for the world-famous, overly-dramatic, time-of-your-life, so-much-fun-you'll-swear-never-to-do-it-again spectacular stargazing event of a lifetime (aka "a couple of geeks lounging out on top-deck staring at the stars")!!!!! It's tentatively scheduled for 8pm on Wednesday, Oct. 26 (St. Thomas night). It will be MC'd by yours truly and will be a good time for anyone with even the slightest enthusiasm for our night skies. Details are still being worked out, but I've been put in touch with a very nice DCL specialist who is helping me plan the event and make it as enjoyable as possible! Hope to see you there!
